With all of these players, not only have they performed at a world class level for their clubs, they have also picked up their games tremendously for their National teams. Xavi is Barccelona's main passer and holder of the ball. In the CL final, he made more passes and held the ball longer than the entire Manchester United team-- combined.

@macondn Xavi and Iniesta's passes usually end up as 2nd assists which unfortunately, don't count as assists. 90% (real number) of Barcelona and team Spain's goal's come off of Xavi/Iniestas foot the pass before the assist. Shows just how important Xavi and Iniesta are to both Spain and Barcelona. The only reason I say that Xavi and Iniesta are better than Messi is because both of these players can perform equally for both National and Club team. Messi hasn't done squat for the national team

Madrid) thus giving them a huge financial advantage over the other teams. From Messi, we only ask for him to be as good as he is in a Barca shirt for his National team. That's all he has to do to prove himself as one of the greatest.
