The real story you ask, well its starts with Marco, a low level drug runner who had a bad deal which lead to 3 murders. Marco got his goods and put them on his boat, the problem? The police know it was him. So Marco tells his friend louis, a past drug peddler the police think it was him and they he has a boat for him to get out of town. Puzzled and confussed he wonders if its true then the police knock on the door, simply there to question him, but louis not knowing that decides to run... SIMPLE
