Damage blend test in Rigs of Rods

I'm having trouble using some vehicles in the game...when I try to use the dune buggy types cars it crashes & the airplane looks more like the land speeder from star wars than a plane.

I'm also having huge issues with the controls,such as no braking or being able to reverse without shifting.I'm used to the 18wos series where I just need to press the down arrow key to reverse,"S" to brake & the up arrow key to accelerate.

The windscreen breaks unrealistically. In real life, windscreens act like bullet-proof glass. They also fall out of the car in some crashes. It's designed so the guy inside doesn't get filled with 1000 shards of glass. Although I don't expect you to make the windscreen fall out ;)
