  • Hey Jack, can't you use the"remove color cast" and bring back some of the original color? How about if you click in the white of their blouse to correct some of the color? The almost all red color bothers me, and I have some of my photos that I'm working on that have the same color cast.

  • @infocusstudio1234 You could also try these techniques. Correcting old pictures is one of the hardest jobs. Let me know how this works out for you.

  • @infocusstudio1234 I agree, the red color looks strange...You can use multiple different adjustments in Photoshop to fix it, however, I'm not sure how in-depth PS Elements goes. (I use Photoshop CS5...but earlier versions such as CS3 work too). I would suggest adjusting the levels as well as just playing with different adjustment layers to see what works best for your individual photo. There are also some other great tutorials on YouTube that show how to recolor photos.

    Hope this helps! :)

  • you didnt auto contrast auto tone or auto color? that really brings my pics back to life

  • cleaning up old photos is fun

  • I was hoping to see what this looked like if you would have removed the red color shift from them.

  • Can't see clearly and if I don't enlarge, can't see. Tutorial is excellent, just can't see what you are clicking on.

  • Your welcome and thanks for the nice comments.

  • HEy Jack

    Are you in this Photo?

And 1 other thing, I noticed you dont use the undo / redo tabs at the top right corner next to the organiser tab.

Its much easier and faster then opening the edit drop down menu.

  • No I am not in this picture. And thanks for the tip, I guess sometimes I am old schooled.

    Jack
