  • @Moluskenhort

This particular video was done with an Arduino and a micro relay for each Guitar button.

and a lots of patience to Map all the keys on that song....

I used the song charts available only on fan sites.

Delay between notes was found by filming parts of the song and using a video editing software, and trial an error....

  • Do you have more information about the project? Do you do it with the Arduino alone or do you use an intermediate computer?

  • What board are you using? I have an Uno.

  • @Carnification

This video was done using a Diecimila

But I also did it with a Nano that can be integrated to a moded guitar...

  • There's no strumming.... this was done with an Arduino...

see my other video to understand....

  • It don't hear any strumming...

  • it a AVR.. a small programable microcontroller...

    arduino.cc

  • Wats an arduino

  • on the real song, how far have you gotten? sadly i dont have GH3 so i dont know how far i can get, probably bridge 1?

  • @beary605 Sadly enough... not even through the first hammer on

to fast for me... but I Stoped playing the game when I was about half way throught Expert on all the other songs...

And I played with a controller...

  • how did you make the arduino know when to push the buttons? is it hooked up to a camera and a computer to do the heavy work, or is it a prerecorded series of outputs, or what? anyway, it's very impressive!

  • Well I did it both ways....

with this Video - TTFAF I mapped all the notes with a delay between them in a TXT file, and imported that TXT into the Arduino memory. So I just need to start the arduino on the 1st notes ,and it does the reset

    on my other video

"Application to Auto Play Guitar Hero - with Arduino "

The camera captures the images the application on the computer detects which note to play, and then sends it to the arduino (ie., send R for red) ann the arduino activates a relay

  • I know I could activate the relay directly with the computer.... but my guitar was already moded to include a socket for the Arduino Nano see video my other video

    "Modded Guitar v2 "

  • @Buhric Hey, how do you place a txt file into the memory? I might get an arduino soon and I want to try something like this as an early project.

  • well... I din't actualy placed a .TXT in memory... it was code in plain TXT format and I just

    #include fullpath\filename.txt

  • @Buhric ahh ok. I didn't think about doing it like that lol. I'll try that when I get an arduino.

  • What is a BOT exactly?

  • Any kind of automation used to play the game....

ie.: A Robot... or more commonly used, an application.

  • well that was my original idea....

But you cant short 2 point with a transistor.

The guitar is NOT common ground

Meaning that I can just put 1 point to HIGH or LOW to simulate a button press.

    ie.:

I need to short point 1 to point 2 to activate "Green"

I need to short point 1 to point 3 to activate "Red"

I need to short point 2 to point 3 to activate "Yellow"

  • STUPID FUCK . BOT

  • I don't know why people like you gets verbal when THEY realise its a BOT.

It says so in the Title... "with Arduino"...

If YOU have no idead what an Arduino is... Well at least get the hint that the FC was done WITH it.

Then if YOU still dont get it.... Looking at the video would be obvious.... Theres a rather larger hand that presses a button right when the notes starts comming in. And theres a big Annotation!!

  • And Of course I should have guessed it....

On a juvenile could have made comments like this.

  • The problem is, bots cant squeeze.

Aynway, it doesnt say its a bot...how would anybody now what an Arduino is..

  • i swear the highway meant to be much faster than that

  • bot

  • Yep!

It says so in the title on the many other comments

  • bot

  • That path wasn't optimal :]

  • then tell me what is the optimal path.

I wanna try and get more points.

  • and what is the trick? because nobody can do that

  • well... no trick.... it was a bot... an Arduino to be more precise.

And I do know that some persons are able to this, en they even get a higher score.

There even a guy in the Guiness book or Records for this....

  • Actually, it's either 10 or 11 people that can do this.

  • dat is fucken crazy!!!

  • so close to 1,000,000.....

  • yeah... :(

unfortunatly its impssoble to get a million on this song in solo....

  • no it isnt :P danny managed it

  • Who's that Danny?

Thw way I heard it... there's not enough notes in TTFAF to get 1 million in solo

And if he did... what the Start path he followed ?

  • check out guitarherophenom.

    he FC every song lol

  • bot is for noob

  • You need to view the video in HQ in other to see the bot at the bottom of the screen. It's pretty cool, he added some LEDs to show us when the notes are triggered. It may be a bot, but you got mad skills Buhric! Great job!

  • Well the way I see it...

the only ones that are allowed to says that Bots are for pussies, are the ones that actualy made it.

If you lack dexterity to do a FC on TTFAF,

you can compensate with know how and still do it.

So unless you can FC this songe or create a bot that does it... then

    STFUWNWAVSD!!!!

  • i dont care if itz a bot. itz still kewl

  • .... so what if he used a bot who cares and if he didnt you guys would look like dumbasses

  • lmfao, looser!!! itz abot

the sustained notes are perfectly whammied every time lol

  • A bot, the waves on the holding notes give it away.

  • wtf is the thing at the bottom?

  • its not on autoplay becase it holds down the buttons and uses star power but it is a bot dont beleive me check BLOODBLITZ 's video and it says bot and does the same thing

  • wtf is the thing on the bottom of the screen?!

  • its a bot

  • It says there is a bot so you dont need to point that out

  • its on autoplay

  • you see that thing moving with the notes thats a bot

  • this guy got no life at all !!! he's a freak !!!!!

  • It is a bot because he dosnt hold down green in the hammorn-ons

  • Fake

  • And it was on expert

  • I didnt even cheat and made 79% on it.

    No cheat included.

  • thats weak

  • guys, look at dat thing on da bottom

  • bot

  • common !!! I've said it like 20 times already

Its a "bot" I used an Arduino and some programming skills.

  • You're the douche...

Every one here knows thats its a bot, it's on the title, they don't need a douche to tell them.

I don't know if you can 100% TTFAF on Expert, I know I can't. But I was able to use my other skills and build a bot to do it....

You propably can't say has much.

  • what was that thing on the bottom-side of ur tv?

  • Like it syas on the Title - I don't claim I'm playing myself.

I'm using an Arduino and some electronics that I made to play TTFAF

That is what you "see" at the bottom of the TV.. Theres even some LED there to see what keys gets pressed, but the rez is to low to see them.

And The hand you see at the begging is me pressing the "start" btn on my electronic device.

  • nice faking, we cant even hear you strum

  • I never claimed that I was playing it...

its an Arduino with a lectronic evice I made

  • ese é LOKO ♥

  • It means that the SP is activated in places where theres the most notes... so you get the most points possible

  • It might be optimal, but humans can still get higher points due to squeezing.

  • You are right.... but the way its made It can also do squeezes....

I just don't have the time/patience to get all the squeezing timings perfect....

  • Ummm... Didn't he say it was a bot? I think he did... You don't have to make it any clearer then it is, because it's just clear... So who cares? And could anyone tell me, what "Optimised Star Power Path" means or is?

  • bot

  • ahh this is abot reported

  • hey u did fpr real or fake

  • TTFAF is actualy behing played by an Arduino programmed with every note of the song.

It is conected to a modded guitar.

The mod is actualy a DB9 connector connected to the different keys of the guitar.

High speed relays are used to activate the keystrokes of the guitar.
