It was nothing wrong with design , 50cc is a power full ENG so you must put the right servos with the amount of torque, for that size plane you should have at list 100+of torque. Also the rod should be short from your aileron to servos .Flutter, doesnt have any thing to do with design of an aeroplane ,it, the builders responsiblty .
It's definitely flutter. Probably the servos were too weak, or perhaps the hinge line was poorly done. I really don't know. It definitely does not need 2 servos per wing however. It's only a 88inch span (50cc class)
Seem like aileron flutter. Could be aileron servos not strong enough. Look like this model designed for 2 servos per aileron and only one servo used as in the video, but then it was just took off and not much Gs yet!!
even with the wing bolts loose it shouldnt do that idd go back to the manufacturer with this vid as evidence the throttle wasnt that high must be something structual
@xjet No idea really. It was a maiden so it could have been a badly designed (weak) fuse. Or it could have been that the owner did not tighten the wing bolts. There was plenty of speculation at the club but I've never seen anything like it so I don't know.
almost looks like he forgot to put the wing bolts in and it was fluttering on the wing tub. thats a bummer

well the crash was caused by the stall after killing the power and the immense amount of right rudder input :P

it seems like it was caused ??somehow?? by the motor because as soon as he cut the motor it stops? or the wings are made out of rubber? :P
