i did everything you said ... but when i put the video on VLC my desktop turns black :S ... can you help me!! i have home premium!

nice video. I downloaded the file and tried to run some videos with it. Wallpaper setting is on, but the desktop just turns black while the video plays in the window. Is there a setting I missed? I'm running Windows XP.

I have vista ultimate but it look like vista basic How can i change it back to Windows Ultimate?

Well if you have this video trick running, simply turn it off. If not then you need to run a base line through the system properties so windows can see that your computer has enough "umph" to run the Aero interface.

you might have explained this already, but I just can't seem to catch it. Anyway I've watched both parts and done everything step by step, but I get the "change to basic" pop-up which defeats the purpose of having a "video wallpaper" so what can/should I do?

Seems to be that for some reason it drops it down to basic mode. I thought it was something to do with my recording and the video at the same time. I'll have to try something to work around it.

The video recording software did not pick up the video background, but it does work.
