@Khamis1203 While you can level/play with one weapon set, you might be crippled in a way doing so. Switching weapons give most Professions a 20 second CD before being able to switch back, warriors get 10 for being master of arms (I believe).

They wanted to give players a reason to switch to different weapons, a warrior could have a sword and shield and tank for a bit incase things get messy, and then switch back to a sword for DPS, or a bow (which gives good aoe damage abilties).

Try it out :)

@leKruGY There is no confirmed release date, but anet has given select press (IGN, gamereactor, machinima, people like that) access this month, and they have said they will invite normal players in march and april, kinda like what swtor did. Thats all I know for now ;)

I liked this video a lot, especially the clips in the beggining =) but there are a few misinformation. for example when you explained the two handed weapons you added the axe, there are no two handed axes in GW2, you didn't say anything about signets, general skills, elite skills or one handed weapons. for everyone who wants a full list of skills for all the classes just go to wiki . guildwars2 . com has everything =) o and Norn Bear Warrior hands down!!!!!!

@lickmywand I think it will be good because all the 12 yr old fan boys will stay in WoW while the more mature players (like me! :D) will see GW2 for what it is and come to play. I'm quite excited to not stand still while casting any more. Spiritwalker's Grace can only get you so far >3>

You will easily notice an experienced warrior in Gw2 , stop bitching about the classes because this isn't a stand-off mmo where the player just randomly uses the skill bar and no motion during combat , this is a mmo that will challenge most experienced players , will differentiate noobs and pros.

Why should i choose thief ?

You choose what class you like because there isn't a lock on the character's skill evolution , hell i can be a warrior and a ranger if i want.

@IaMTheDodo54 Just take the warrior, it will be my first character, too! There are some great combinations that definately take skill. I think the only reason why it's one of the "easier" proficiencies is because he wears heavy armor and has more health than the other classes so a noob won't instantly die when getting attacked. So actually when you have learned to play it really well it's not a problem. Play what you wanna play!! =)

Warrior 2H Sword skills still need work IMHO.

Whirlwind Attack is difficult to use as a closer, while Bladetrail doesn't synergize with the other (melee ranged) skills.

Face Me burst skill is decent but not particularly amazing like Earthshaker (Hammer)

Needs more (controllable) mobility and Condition-inducing skills.
