From an engineering stand point Britannic should have never sunk, the addition of the covered shelter deck on the stern of the ship as well as the enclosed promenades and extra deck above the poop deck, and the fact that she had a double hull and curved expansion joints that could'nt create a fracture, means she should have been nearly un-sinkable but a failure on the water tight doors and open portholes caused the ship to sink twice as fast as her sister Tianic. Rest in peace Britannic

These types of ships in the early 1900's sank because of people that were so full of them selves, thought that nothing would sink theses "great" ships. Like the titanic instead of listening to the iceberg warnings they kept going to mean their final destination. So sad.

The Britannic was built with all the "improvements" that her sister's (Titanic, Olympic) didn't have like higher bulkheads, etc. Britannic sank so fast because she was in a warm climate with most of the port holes wide open so all it took was a slight list and down she went. Sad. Olympic "died in bed" as she was in service until the mid 1930s before being scrapped. Her interior wood work is in several buildings today in England.

Look up a Ship called the Wilhelm Gustav, it was a German Hospital ship full of wounded and refugees escaping the Russians and the Russians torpedoed her and close to 10,000 souls lost their lives. Since the Britannic sunk 4 years after the Titanic, she's probably in a more good shape and condition than the titanic. We can raise her and rebuild parts of her that fall off. We can look at blueprints, 3D models, etc for areas that fall off if we raise her to rebuild.

Dont worry all people that dont died at the explosion could go off the ship because in war the evacuation was more faster and safer. Ofcourse 2 Lifeboats got sucked in the propellers and of that 30 people died but only the people in the 2 lifeboats. even though it where 30 people too much...
