MCX Swashplate Mod

you can use an msr swashplate to achieve the same result. all you need to do then is extend your anti-rotation collar.

So I went to heli freak to get more info on it but couldnt figure out how to search. I'm guessing I have to register and I'd rather not.

So here is my guess on what to do:

I'm guessing buy a spare swashplate at my local hobby shop. Cut the balls off (ouch!) and CA them to the other swashplate? Them just cut some appropriate length plastic pieces and CA them to extend the arms of that other hooya?

i tried my mcx outside standard in a light breeze i could manage to keep it facing the wind but without moving forward.

would this mod help with outside flight?

It might help a little but any mcx is going to be verry hard to fly in any wind.

The CA glue holds up great! No problems at all with the glue. As for speed gain I would say 100% increase or more, its hard to say but the diferance is like NIGHT and DAY! I would recomend this mod 1000% to anyone who is competent with their MCX.
