So naturally, people choose to go for the lookers and don't even give people with actual talent a try. There are some pretty funny women out there, you just have to look.

with that said, the vast majority of female comedians i've seen are either telling the same lame shit that female comics were doing in the 80s and 90s or they are like this one and just plain arent making any funny.

@djjezza I know who Jessi Campbell is, she is hilarious, I guess what I was trying to say is, you'd sooner find a male watching comedy by a skinny model like woman than a large girl. Sex sells, and because they see a lot of these model like women -not saying all skinny women aren't funny- who were chosen for looks over skill, they stereotype all women as being not funny.

@aishahona1 the simplest explanation is that 'model' girls aren't funny because their whole lives they've had dudes laughing at shit they said that isn't funny, reaffirming incorrect behaviour. the fat chicks had to score real laughs with real jokes and therefore actually developed real comedy skills. i'd like to see any sociologist disprove this.
