Because the mascara can make your eyelashes stick to the curler and then you have to pull it off and it hurts badly.

you dont curl after mascara because it could still be wet and could dry while you are using the curlers and when you pull away it could rip your lashes out. i suppose you could do it after its definately dry but i dont think it would work very well. :) x

heey xxawesomeactressxx and everyone else out there , another reason that you shouldnt have mascara on before you curl your lashes, is that because sometimes, your mascara might be sticky, and could get kinda stuck to your curler. which might rip them out. not a good thing. hope this helps :)

i know, it uncurls mine too which is annoying, but its bad for your lashes to curl after mascara. what i do is i curl before, apply mascara, then do one quick, light clamp afterward.

if you curl after you've applied mascara, it can damage your eyelashes, weakens it, breaks it. it would also spoil the curler, as the mascara sticks on to it.

If you use the lash curler after applying mascara your lashes will break more than using the lash curler first. Using the lash curler first will let your lashes curl evenly aswell

when you do it after you apply your mascara your eyelashes have a better chance of breaking off because when you apply your mascara, your eyelashes get crunchy and they are weaker.

:Keep it closed, and hold it up to your eyelid
