My first fiancé was born there, and his father, Bill Jones, had his health wrecked by Hooker Chemical, where he was the guy they'd call in horrible disasters. My first fiancé was all messed up, his siblings, too, they were all a toxic mess, still are. This kind of hick sentimentality is just part of the dumbing down of America. This toxic crap goes on for centuries. My realtives in Ohio gave all their Amish land to the Church of Jesus Christ, what a messed up country!
I was watching the meetings regarding the impending flooding, and happened to come across this, and I'm so glad I did! I love this video! I was born and raised in Morgan City, and moved to Lafayette in 1989 to go to college, and have been in Lafayette ever since. Until January of this year, my dad still lived there, and was always very involved in the community. Your video was so eloquent, and quite possibly the single best piece I've ever seen regarding our little town, and all of wonderful l
Great video! I'm from Shreveport, but I'm a big fan of the drive down LA-182, and I think Morgan City is one of the coolest towns in LA. And that's saying something.
sf panther...Loved the video....Thanks so much for sharing. If I didn't live here it would make me want to visit. Just loved the old tractor and the American Flag.
I was born and raised in M.C. I lived there for 46 years. I have been gone for 20 years now. I wish I had never left. One day I hope to return and stay. 2buckchuck
I made this video from pictures on the web and some I have taken. The reason I made this video is because I moved here in late 2007. Since then I have met the best people in the whole world, fell in love with the food, and the scenery is spectacular!!! I couldn't think of another place to ever live. I envy everyone who grew up there or lived there. I don't plan ever leaving.
ty scott, what a great video, my hometown too. I do miss MC

This is a great video and the over 2,000 views confirms that fact. Our dear, friends that live here in Blue Springs, MO, are transplants from MC.
