Actually, bomb rocks were meant to be hazards in Pikmin 1, and yellows were originally gonna be immune to electrical hazards from the beginning, but they ran out of time to input electrical hazards and made yellows have the ability to use bombs instead. That's why bomb rocks are a little poorly programmed in this game, because they are programmed to still be extremely potential hazards in the game. I'm glad yellows don't have bombs anymore XD
