  • Wow what you're speaking is the truth

  • some of you need to shake that lustful spririt off...She always receives the compliments so humbly but im sure it might make her feel uncomfortable to continuosly have "men of God" lusting after her...thats not cool. She is very beautiful but appreciate her God given beauty then move on especially if you already see umpteen other comments on her beauty rather than having anything to do with her Message's

  • You mean! LOL!!! Just kidding, this is an awesome teaching and I will be presenting this to our praise team. I have taught the same lessons but now it's like the Holy Spirit has sent reinforcements :-), I thank you for your obedience to the Lord Jesus and His conviction for us to grow and present "true worship". God bless you

  • Good stuff Neechy!! Thank you. I am a Praise and Worship team member and leader. I don't fall into your top 7 or 8 but this is still some good stuff to keep in the back of my mind! Thank you!!

  • u are seduzing me with your lips woman

  • I KNOW THAT THIS IS TOTALLY OFF POINT AND IS SO RANDOM BUT...SHE HAS REALLY NICE TEETH=)

  • Speak! A few of these need be applied to my church's praise team. During praise and worship, they try to preach, scream, and give guilt trips . Oh, at my church you HAVE to stand up unless you're holding a baby, disabled, elderly, or visitor who just don't know any better (usually they're told to stand though). Lol. I will def. be showing my parents this video because we talk about these things almost every Sunday. Smh.

  • @PearlfectJourney I feel you, one thing I do as a worship leader is teach as if EVERYBODY that is in the congregation has NEVER been to church. What I do is explain why we stand during prayer and worship, I use the illustration of a bride coming down the isle, we stand in respect and to see her beauty, lets stand in reverence to our Lord and see HIs beauty. It truly helps, maybe throw that at your leaders or you teach it?

  • I keep watching this and I keep "LIKING" it... I just sent it to my team... Im joining the revolution!!! Thanks for the HELP!

  • Neechy! I LIKE YA! VERY GOOD! I CAN DIG IT! THE REVOLUTION IS SHO NUFF TELEVISED! :)

  • @raymon336 Yessah! We need a revolution, for real!

  • Wrong!! This is very negative as a church person if you have issues with that you take it to the pastor....

  • Nice

  • For what it's worth, I Love It. Keep blessing us with your wisdom lady! Absolutely love it.

  • @neechytv See why I love you...lol.. Wuddup lady... its been a minute..

  • I haven't read all of the responses, so maybe you have already been reminded of this, but the initial example you used is primarily an example of someone not running sound properly. A singer is not controlling their own volume, so why respond as if they are? The singers monitor levels may have also been incorrect so they had no idea they were overshadowing the leader. I think most of what you said was right on, but this spoiled your video for me, knowing it was just dead wrong.

  • Yes Lord.. @neechy - you went in!!!! - God bless for your truth!

  • BLOWN AWAY BY HOW FRANK AND REAL YOU ARE ABOUT THIS ISSUE. ITS BEEN BUGGING ME FOR A LONG TIME. I THOROUGHLY ENJOYED YOUR VIDEO...GAVE ME HOPE. ALL ISN'T LOST AFTER ALL :). MAY THE GOD OF ISRAEL RICHLY BLESS YOU.

  • @trissyton God bless you!

  • It's really because people are leading without any training. I think we all did this when we first started out. We had hearts to follow the calling that God has placed on us, but had no training. The pastor/worship pastor HAS to communicate... with the Worship Leader each week, and the leader must be TEACHABLE> Go home, cry about it, ask God to show you yourself, and ask the KING what he wants to hear next time.

  • @worshipper26 Good point.

  • Love it, Love it, Love it. Thanks Neechy. That is on point LOL

  • Worship and praise is not a singing contest! If it's not leading us to worship the most high, it's not correct. Your points are excellent sister!!! Real and true worship has many different expressions, but all those different expressions focus on God, not those leading the service. Praise/worship is a participatory activity by everyone in the room, at least it's supposed to be. If we're drawing attention to anything other then God during that time we are not worshiping. A jam is not worship.

  • NUFFFFF SAYED WOMAN OF GOD. AMEN AND AMEN AGAIN. GLORY TO THE GOD. I ENJOYED THE REALNESS, WHICH WILL PRESS ME AS A PRAISE AND WORSHIP LEADER TO STAY HUMBLE TO GOD. AMEN HE IS ALL THAT MATTERS. WHEN I AM SINGING TO HIM AND LISTENING TO HIM THAN EVERYTHING GOES SMOOTHLY AS PLANNED BY HIM. AMEN. THANK YOU AGAIN FOR YOUR BOLDNESS WOMAN OF GOD. LOVE YOU WITH THE LOVE OF CHRIST AND FOR KEEPING IT REALLLL.

  • Loved your commentary Neechy!!! 100% on point. As a P&W member I have seen every single point you made, and in the raw...it grieves me. Thanks for spitting the truth, don't ever change, be you. God is using you just as you are! Blessings.

  • lol lolshe funny

  • (cont) The reason we call it Praise and Worship Demonstration in our church ministry is because Praise and Worship IS a lifestyle and on Sunday when we forsake not to assemble ourselves, we want to demonstrate what we've been living all week.... This isn't a once a week thangy.... Thank you NEECHY.... I just got turned on to you and now I'm adopting you as my daughter in the faith (our rather, Sista')... Wishing you continued success...!

  • You are my gurl... THANK YOU SOOOOOO much!!!!!! ...and a BIG Amen ! ! ! EVERY thing that was stated in this episode is so true and I wished I could get this to every praise leader in the United States to view before they stand before God's People and any people for that matter.... because sometimes, it's because of the praise leader many would be follows have turned away because us (yes, us) leaders have turned the Praise and Worship demonstration period into ShowTime at the Apollo....

  • Ewwwww Yeah LOL!!!!

  • THANK YOU!!! I am SOOOOOOOOO glad that you did this post. It is right on point. We as PT leaders and members have a responsibility, which does NOT include getting your shine on. There should not be any one person singing over another. It should be as one voice as we give praise and worship unto God. Again, Neechy...GREAT POST. God Bless You!!

  • PTL Neechy & Amen. Thank God for my Bro-in-law who does the mic system. He lowers the volume on the culprits mic, he has also shut it all the way off if he has to. It was too funny to watch her hitting the mic and holding it up to him to say "it's off". I absolutely hate people singing over the Praise Leader.

  • Neechy you right on with everything you said. i absolutely agree with you, i sometimes, think praise&worship leaders do that, just so they can have or make a name for themselves or be well known as one of the best or something.

  • This is HILARIOUS and sooooooooooo on point!

  • This was overdue! Thanks for putting it in a video so others can learn from it!

  • Amen!

  • And that is why I am no longer in the black church.

  • somebody needs to say it.

  • I've noticed that Praise and Worship in many cases (not all) has been reduced to a music style/genre, a time in the service, etc. These things are well and fine, but they are only a means to achieve true praise and worship. What has been excluded and/or lacking from what we call praise and worship is the seeking and peering into the face of the living God and standing in awe of Him, by bringing a sacrifice of praise (continually) with the fruit of our lips confessing His name. Great Video!

  • I love your spirit, and you have commented on everything I've experienced as a former praise team member/leader. I sat myself down because there was a young lady who did out sing and took over. I'm currently not acting in that capacity in another city because of this very fact....people not behaving properly in ministry.

  • I always appreciate when I get messages from you about the new vids. You talk about some cool issues and go some cool places. GOd bless you sister!

  • OMG!!!! WHEN IS THE SEMINAR!!!

  • @rashyeda Soon and very soon. You name the city, and I will be there!

  • Enjoy this very much

  • @awilson1986 Thanks - To God be the glory!

  • Well...you better go ahead and talk the truth! Brilliant video, very candid and honest. Much needed and on time.

  • This is the first time I heard of any of your vids..... someone posted it to FB had to look up 4 myself after viewing it .... Totally agree and totally Love every statement u made !

  • @neutrogenaz Thanks for taking the time to watch the vid, I appreciate it and I'm humbled. God bless you!

  • dying@ your name is not jodeci!!!!

    TELL THEM NEECHY!!!

    I HATE IT ALSO MAN....

LIKE, U R SUPPOSE TO BE GETTING US IN THE FRAME OF MIND TO APPROACH GOD'S THRONE AND THEY ARE SHOWING OFF THEIR SKILLS.....kmt. (kiss my teeth).....*a jamaican gesture*

  • Truth! "Your name is not Jodeci"...still rolling on the floor laughing.

  • @rfrf101 Ha!

  • Ooooooooh goodness. You had me from the TITLE! I used to lead worship at my church, and have just recently switched ministries. I am now being shown REAL WORSHIP and it's blowing my mind because everything was just all wrong praise & worship wise at my old church. People were literally scared away by all of the screaming & forcing. It made me sick to my stomach. I am SO loving this vid. I was hearing praise & worship at church...but I was going home on empty, worship wise. YES!! THIS IS TRUTH!!

  • Thanks for this video.........because a lot of those things you mentioned that people do are what drove me from the church. It's ashame because a lot of people have been driven from the Church because of this too and I'm glad your are bringing this up!

  • god bless u neechy

  • @tbear674 God bless you as well!

  • Neechy! You are loved! Sometimes we have just tell each other like it is and that's what your doing! If we truly know God for ourselves we couldn't get caught up in ourselves because He is the reason we live, move and have our being anyway!!!

  • HE WO DOES THE WILL OF JESUS CHRIST ONLY HAS VICTORY....NOTHING LESS. GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY IN THE NAMEOF JESUS. S.4.G

  • LOL, not Jodeci!!! you betta preach it! this is happening to all praise teams! not Rock The Runway!! LOLL! YAS, forcing folk to praise!!! if you do your job right, God will take care of it!! *church stomps* YAS #6, get in where you fit in!!!!

  • Neechy, you sound a little upset.

  • Being a P&W leader I really love and appreciate this vid. I agree with all you said. Point 8 is THE one though. P&W is a lifestyle, it isnt a career, its a calling and I think once you realise who's called you to do it you will do it properly and effectively. When I'm leading I don't have time to pump anybody, I'll invite everyone but whether they accept is their business. I believe when you really touch God with P&W the people cant help but be touched too. Great vid!

  • Amen, Praise teams should not focus on the congregation joining in, just Praise the LORD. As an ex- team member my focus was only on praising the LORD, not who in the congregation was joining or enjoying what I was presenting unto the LORD. If praise teams would focus only on praising the LORD, the congregation will join in because the presence of the LORD would move the congregation as He wills; all the mind and emotional manipulation don’t cause a positive action, but a force reaction. P T L

  • NEECHY!!! You are so on point rite now, Love ya girl!! =) 100% ON POINT!!!

  • @JTy18 Love ya back. God bless you!

  • Amen, Amen, Amen!! Excellent Video :-)

  • I am not a praise team leader, however I WHOLE HEARTEDLY AGREE! What I have found is that people have the tendancy to compensate lack of a holy and worshipful lifestyle with the fillers that you named. It is true that you CANNOT expect for those to whom you are ministering to be stirred unless you yourself have laid before God everyday! And those of us in the pew as well as the Man or Woman of the respected house, need to keep and hold our worship leaders to that standard.
