  • @belgiumtim94 Well for one, i know that my beta as several maps, i don't know if it has all of them. I could send them rared over email if you want.

  • Amazing how unfinished Deck is but playing this night and day for years made deck what it became.Looks like they adjusted anyoing things,fixed spawnraping places, to wide field of wiev for sniper etc. accidental ogo-baths

  • One more thing.....how did you get console to show in the end? I never figured that out, only that with tab i could type. Also I had to rewrite the autoexec.mac etc.

    As far as i remember i had to press two keys randomly in order to make it appear, weird stuff, i found it accidentaly haha. Sorry i just can't recall which those were.

    I have glide wrapper but i didn't tried that at that one time. I bet it is much better than this bugged cpu software rendering stuff.

  • Yeah, it is better only that I was unable to set high res on it, but still it looks smooth and way cooler, also you have coronas in maps etc and other effects, the software rendering didn't really have option to turn the details on like the later versions. So the only way to see all the effects is glide and as I said, there are some effects and stuff that was scarpped from final version.

  • Well i know that a have a nearly new voodoo 5 still inside it's original box and i could give it a try but again...nah :]

    Maybe when i have some vacations a few centuries from now!

  • Well, ore likely worked since I got that harddisc broken, but you get my point.

  • You could have tried using Glide with glidewrapper. I got it running fine, in beta you cant even set high detail actors in software but in glide it is, plus even effects that were never in original Unreal! No I am not kidding, rockets have lens flares etc.. Unfortunatelly I never got the glide to work on this laptop using windows vista and the betas. In Unreal it works but in the beta not. On my Windows 98SE/XP machine it works.
