  • I never seen Guy Pierce so hott before!!

  • Epic Guy is Epic.

  • Comment removed

  • who else thinks this would have a perfect time to bring back SNAKE PLISSKEN?

  • COELASQUID

  • I hope this movie will be 3 hours long

  • Miniguns in space??? Cmon....not again -.-

    Great movie though...

  • @AnselmoFanZero Energy weapons have been done to death. Projectile weapons are more believable. Besides, it gives it a sort of Battlestar Galactica vibe. That was my first thought anyway when I saw those turrets.

  • @BaddGirl420

They already use lasers to detonate IBEs....take down missles. They can blow up a plane as well. You really think, we will have light speed engines, and still fire bullets? Gauss maybe.

  • @AnselmoFanZero Of course we will. First off, I doubt most firefights in space would be done at light speed. Secondly, lasers strong enough to damage a spacecraft would be more expensive and have to draw power from the ship's power source, or require their own. If we do advance to the point of having combat capable military spacecraft, ships larger than a fighter would probably have projectiles as primary weapons and lasers would mainly be defensive or for targetting large less mobile targets.

  • @BaddGirl420

No offense, but dont quit your day job :)

POWER.......light speed and space travelling in general pull HUGE amounts of juice. Thats why its stupid to CARRY ammo..instead of energy.

  • @AnselmoFanZero It's really all going to depend on the budget we have to work with. Large battleship-type spacecraft with nothing but energy weapons will be extremely expensive to build and maintain.

  • @BG

One last time. We already HAVE energy weapons. Dont wanna know what kinda stuff they DONT show. So when we have the ability to make SPACE SHIPS and BIG stations, such weapons are piece of cake.

  • @AnselmoFanZero I KNOW we have energy weapons, but not in wide-spread use. And the reason for that is money.

  • @BaddGirl420

That film is placed in the future...........not now.

  • @AnselmoFanZero Well, this debate isn't fun anymore, so the last thing I will say on this is that short of a major unforseeable scientific breakthrough, I do not see humanity progressing past the point where military, government, or civilian funding will cease to be a problem. The more we expand, the more people we will need to feed, house, educate, and protect. We will probably see the rise of new governments and new wars. As the saying goes, the more things change the more they stay the same.

  • @BaddGirl420

Guess you are not as informed neither interested in science. Whatever.

  • @BaddGirl420

Cmon...its not that hard to understand. They have the ability AND energy for light speed and all that stuff.

  • @AnselmoFanZero But reality aside, from a cinematic (and personal) point of view, minigun style weapons are more fun.

  • @BaddGirl420

    Agreed.

  • @BaddGirl420

Instead of USING energy as a weapon. Got me?

  • escape from new york... in space

  • guy pearce fucked it up. from la confidential and memento to this...

  • @Kneleist from la confidential to momento? you seriously think those were bad movies? la con was probably one of the last really great film noirs, and momento brought nolan into the spotlight because of its refreshing style. and as for guy pearce? hes a great actor who probably does this kind of work because he likes it

  • @reifen93 He means LA and Memento were some of the best films ever....enough to be puzzled why he isn't the top of the A list by now.

  • movie gonna be fucking great

  • This looks like that one episode of Battlestar Galactica with the space prison.

  • I fucking saw this trailer before watching the Grey, today. I fucking knew that was Mr. Gilgun!!

  • i thought that was brad pitt getting punched haha

  • "Space Plisken"

  • Same scene in the Last Boy Scout

  • This trailer is SO MUCH BETTER than the American one with the Movie Guy Voice.

More humor, more mystery, less giving away the whole damn movie...

  • So basically this is Escape from New York, but in space.

When they said, "There's only one man who can get her out of there....Sn-" I was sure they were going to say, "Snake"....until they said "Snow".

    He is no Plissken.

  • @utoobd3wd I know, fucking seriously. Loose Cannon? Check. The Best? Check. No one likes him? Check. All Guy Pearce needs is an eye patch and long hair.

  • Hehe, I'd just watch this movie because Guy Pearce's character is amusing and likeable

  • I have to admit this trailer had me laughing :)

  • Guy Pearce finally back in the leads... was so sad to see him in such a dissapointment like Don't be Afraid of the Dark.

  • The President's daughter has been kidnapped by psychos! Is Guy Pearce a bad enough dude to save the President's daughter?

  • @tbonesfa (cough cough) Snake Plisken in Space

  • JOOOOOOEEEEEEEE

  • I'm surprised he could keep making jokes after being punched so many times, i would have probably have either been knocked out or too dazed to say anything without cackling

  • looks like fun

  • Wow, a big dumb sci-fi action movie with a sense of humour? I am officially excited.

  • 360p? Really?

  • Come dudes, HD version!

  • I thought this was about the 2012 NBA season....very dissapointed

  • Guy Pearce is one of the most underrated actors ever.

  • @youliveyoudie Never really liked him to be honest but this film actually looks quite good.

  • @hamster12512 Have you ever seen Memento, LA Confidential, Animal Kingdom, The Adventures of Priscilla Queen of the Desert, The Hurt Locker, etc. He was pretty good in all of those.

  • @jfkfanclub I've seen the Hurt Locker and the last ten minutes of Memento. I've also seen parts of LA Confidential but I fell asleep. He's in the new Count of Monte Cristo as the antagonist isn't he? Another film I've seen ten minutes of before falling asleep.

  • @hamster12512 You must be a very tired man, then.

  • come see Maggie Grace trying to have a serious career this 420!

  • SOLD

  • name of the music?

  • Looks great

  • The movie looks awesome and has a pretty decent story but the graphics kind of reminded me of like a X Box game, but if its got Pearce in it then I'll Fo Sho see it.

  • i dont like space movies with spaceships and shit but guy pierce made me laugh. no movie with spaceships has ever done that.

  • The Hobbit finally has some competition.

  • This is how you make a trailer. Enough to intrigue people, but not showing the whole movie.

  • guy pearce is dominating space movies. 2 in less the 2 months.

  • Well I guess that's why they call it a punchline...

    0:36

  • come on!!!

    People love me!!!!

    Ask your wife!!!!

  • How is the guy being interrogated not Brad Pitt ..

  • For what the hell is this basic? For the american dream. (!)

  • Meh

  • nice

  • Gonna see it, best trailer i've seen so far.

  • at 0:21 i thought it was hugh jackman

    but then its guy pearce

then at 0:46 i thought i saw and heard brad pitt then i heard hugh jackman

FUCK how many voices is put in this one character

    anyway this one looks good

  • I'm going to have to find out what "trampolining" is now. Then do it.

  • this trailer is good. after each punch appears a new name. good idea. otherwise it seems to be good scifi.

  • AHHHHHHHHHHH

  • I AM SO FUCKING HAPPY WITH HOW THIS CAME OUT

  • FINALLY

  • wtf was this?

  • Lol this trailer is soo funny

  • -"He's name was f@сk you"

    -"Really?"

    -"Yeah, he was asian"

    F@сk i love it))

  • really bad VGI
