cutter4332, are you retarded, sequoia took thousands of years to grow that larage, so what your saying is we should cut down all the trees, and make it difficult to make oxygen and wait thousands of years for giant sequoia to become that big and start over.. yah SHUT THE FUCK UP
Mysteryyzz, in this particular video there was not one giant sequoia being logged that I could see, the wood they were logging was second or maybe even third growth douglass fir, maybe some small redwood and sequoia trees mixed in. I am almost certain it was a thinning sale on government land and they always leave the biggest trees, I know this for a fact because I've cut trees on forest service land and it's always the case.
The greenies want everybody to think that as soon as a forest is logged it's gone forever. There are places here in Washington state that have been logged three times already and those darn trees keep coming back. Imagine that.
great point im glade im not the only one here with a brain its true those trees take a long time to grow but guess what people they dont give all that much o2 off its the younger trees that give off more of the 02 than those great big 1000 year old trees so log the ones that are not healthy or pose a hazzard and let some stand to grow
Uh oh people have jobs better bring your tree hugging hippie ass up there and put them in the unemployment line like all you stupid fucks. Oh yeah whats your house made out of.
next time you walk on a loggin job with you green hats and camras remember ware there walks a logger there walks a man! if that was my job and had a bad day i mighta slaped the crap out of you doin that kinda crap!
Looks like PALCO land to me, dummie! PALCO trucks haulin' what looks like Douglas Fir, not coastal redwoods. They're land, they're private property rights! My gosh, what is wrong with you eco-nuts? How 'bout a video showing your residence, what it's made of, and all the other wood products you've entrenched yourselves with for a little balance? But then again, hypocrisy is the environmentalists way of life, isn't it?
