Well to comment on the tone I just ordered a Model 502 yesterday! It's the same as yours only a different finish. I've been trying to decide for about a year now and this video was the deciding factor. I need a "Hound Dog" guitar for a Christian Blues CD I'm working on right now. Great job on the video.

the tuning here is a whole step above the tuning in the cover you did for john mayer's "daughters" intro. Is this the "standard tuning" for this style of music?

Really enjoyed this. Probably like many people who have found this video, I am thinking about buying a resonator guitar and was looking for some demos of the Republic models. Watching this I am impressed by the lovely tone and versatility, and the playing is lovely too, reall nice.
