Knuckles sounds like a bitch on Sonic Underground.....

Personally ever since I saw knuckles in the Sonic 3 Manual, I always thought he had a black-guy voice. Dunno why.

when I saw that episode when Sonic and his siblings first met Knuckles, I expecting his voice to be kind of like from Sonic X

Personally, I like Ian's a little better. He sounds younger, less like a hot head and much smarter rather than a bumbling idiot. I mean he's ONLY the guardian of the freaking Master Emerald after all. I'd prefer him to not be made into a joke. And considering his design was closest to Sonic's at the time, I wouldn't expect his voice to be that similar to a big, gruff and tough guy like Vector. Sure he's strong, but not the "all braun no brains" type tho. XD I do like Dan Green's voice tho.

I don't really mind that Dan Green voices Knuckles now... but I do admit that Knuckles voice from Sonic Heroes was much more age fitting.

@TheChildofaura No it wasn't. It was actually deeper and just as gruff. The guy who voiced him in Sonic Heroes sounded like Dan Green almost, but the guy who voiced him in Heroes also voiced him in Sonic Adventure 2 where he made his voice less gruff.

Even then it's not age fitting since he's only 16 and he sounds like he's in his late 20's. And even Sonic has always soundd much older. He always sounded like he was in his late 20's and early 30's just really childish tone. =P

I personally Dan Green's Knuckles voice is better, becuase it has that type of "manly masculine godly voice" used when ever information is given.

I think Knuckles's voice in Sonic X was too rough and gruffy. But it fits his tough guy personality though. Ian Corlett on the other hand made Knuckles sound a little too much like the way Sonic sounded in Sonic SatAM. So I guess rough and gruffy suits him best.

Sonic underground is sppose to be a side series about sonic the hedgehog were he has a brother (manic) and a sister (sonia) Intead of tails. And this is knuckles actually first official tv premire. And its technicly the real knuckles according to Dic And sega =P

@mphlohi Lol fail. The ova didnt come to english until AFTER sonic underground was made. sonic underground was aird in 1999 but was made in 1997.

It worked for the role he played in Sonic Underground, but it makes for a pretty blaring contrast to what they've turned him into.
