  • I am dancer and love both Greek music and Sri Lankan dance but I don't think these dancers are actually dancing Dynata...

  • Sri Lanka Opa !!!!!! Dynata ! Dynata !

  • you are all idiots! Can't you see the musicians at the back, who are obviously not playing this song. And the singer is not there either...

  • re malaka. you think that "we idiots" didn´t noticed it??? hahaha you are the idiot. :D

  • Amazing ! I love it ! 5* from me !

  • Greece Hellas to Sri Lanka 5******

    Alex

  • opa.......!!

  • teleio!!!!

  • super

  • Too slow. Antique has a better version of this song. I understand because this is more older than cover version from Antique.

    Respect Arvanitaki

    Antique Fan Forever

  • sorry but the version of antique is totally crap!

  • I get very emotional when I see my country, Greece, travel so far away thanks to its music!!! Like the song says, "all the impossible became possible"... sri lankan dance on greek music. This was fun!:)

  • But its an Armenian, who composed this.

  • This song is very nice and the ballet too, very very nice!!

  • Very cool!

  • amazing music and dance...the girls r pretty too.

  • This dance is another magnificent creation of Channa Upuli Dancing Institute in Sri Lanka. They followed traditional sri lankan sinhala dancing styles but did not stick to a particular one. That is the magic. They mixed all together and created a best possible visual representation for a music work that had been echoed all around the world. God bless all humans who involved in this wonderful song. The best thank goes to the uploader of this video, Mylanka.

  • PS: the lyrics to this Greek version speak about women, strength, life and fertility, which is appropriate that these beautiful Sri Lanka women are dancing to it. :-)

  • Well...

The composer from that song is mister Dinkjian Ara. I mean he is an armenian.

  • Well...

the link up is the greek version cause what you hear is greek lyrics but I mean the real first one verse come from Turkia or Armenia, u will tell me...

  • The first or original version was an Armenia song by Dinkjian Ara called "Homecoming". The Turkish song was produced after that and thirdly was the Greek version. All great versions because the music is great. From his official site:

"His compositions have been recorded in thirteen different languages by top singers and musicians throughout the world (including Eleftheria Arvanitaki and Sezen Aksu), proving that music is indeed the international language. "

  • lol boli wpaia!

  • They dance to another song. The Arbvanitaki song is overdubbed.

  • Whoa! You mean they are not really dancing to Dynata Dynata? Wow, its seems like they are! Maybe they should, the lyrics and music to this song goes well with their dance.

  • These girls can dance. Pure beauty. Opa.

  • Ahah....this is Channa's girls dancing to the Golden Chimes...and someone's over played another song to match the dancing...its like spanish or something

  • rhythm seems to be inspired from middle east. not bad song.

  • "rhythm seems to be inspired from middle east. not bad song."

The guy who composed the music for it is Armenian. There is a Turkish version of this song too. I still can't get over the fact this is dubbed. Their dance went so well with the lyrics and music to this song. They danced great.

  • nice one !!

is this from a torana VCD ? does anyone know the name of it?

  • wow really sweet!!!

  • cool. very nice. This is Made in SRI LANKA.

show the world Sri Lanka is not a part of india and we are VERY DIFFERENT than india.

  • Hey, the VIDEO TRACK HAS A BACK SHIFT. try to fix it.

    anyways... the dance is awesome...

  • Where was this performed?

  • I am very happy a Greek song of an Armenian composer matches so well with Sri Lankan folklore!

  • Good to see *some* dance from Sri Lanka. I much prefer traditional dance over pirated excerpts of films.
