  • Are you really moving that fast with your mouse? Jesus if you are and you didn't speed up the video and talk over it teach me.

  • You should do a tutorial on how to texture a uv map in photoshop, my texturing always turns too simple or too crap.

  • Out of all that video, my eyes only perked up when I saw Turkleton.

  • I'm faster than that.

  • Swe :D

  • Holly shit, this can't be in real time

  • @freshaca3 It's not, he's narrating over a sped up video, but it doesn't appear to be much faster. Double, Triple time maybe.

  • Why would you use a tangent map to create a rock texture? I'm just wondering. My impression of object space was that it was less painful on the render but it couldn't be applied to deforming meshes. Rocks don't warp so it'd make sense to use an object normal map.

Still, awesome tutorial, I learned a ton. Thank you for posting ^_^.

  • Thanks for the tute, liking the speed too!

  • This may sound stupid, but what exactly does an ambient occlusion map do?

  • @yusha32 It is a lightmap to prerender shadows in the crevices
