  • Wow! Now that's a serious smoker. I use a Cookshack for my homemade, homesmoked pulled pork and baby back ribs. They turn out pretty good. Take a look. Thanks for a great video!

  • Can you send me price for smoker. At zhansraj@ yahoo. Com

  • @zhansraj Hey, there. Please visit our website (see the link in the description). Click on Smokers and the prices are right there. I am not sure what you are interested in. Does that answer your question?

  • yyeeeehhhaaaaaaarr i said yyeeeeeeeeeeeehhhaaarrr !!

  • I want one!

  • @daveh013 We got 'em. :)

  • Got a question, i know you cant show the entire cook but do you keep any of the meat wrapped in tin foil..etc during a portion of the cook and then cook the meat in the smoke for another portion? I know some people do this and i normally do as well but wanted to try it differently the other day by keeping it unrapped and it turned out awful. Everything just tasted like smoke and was dry? Any pointers?

  • @tmead16 I usually don't use foil except for brisket and roast and then I leave it in the smoke for the first several hours. I like the challenge of cooking without foil. It's not hard to turn out moist awesomeness with some experience and guidance.

What meats are you cooking? We have tips and recipes for quite a few different meats. Go to my website and click on recipes on the side.

Check em out, get my Top 10 Secrets report and you should be on the right track. Any questions?

  • @seriousbbqsdotcom Im guilty of using foil, but I don't have a smoker right now... I have to cheat and use a baking pan... I lay down foil first and then place a cookie rack on it (about a 1/4" tall rack) then I place my ribs and put about 1 cup apple juice and 1 cup of strained orange juice, then about 1/4 cup of liquid smoke (hickory) then I wrap the foil up over the rack and ribs...

  • @koncreteliquids If you don't have an offset, you might be able to make an offset setup by putting the meat on the side of the vent and the fuel on the other side. Then let the meat be in the smoke for the first half or so of the cook. The way you described it, you don't get smoke on the meat do you?

  • OMG that must be Heaven!

  • where do i get hinge locks like the red ones you use?

  • Man, now I'm hungry! lol, looks very tasty!

  • what are you spraying on those ribs? apple juice or water?

  • @rub504 Just apple juice.

  • Is that a Pump Bug/Chem Sprayer? Very nice!

  • @rdwafer75 Yes.

  • Well that's breakfast sorted....

  • cant wait till they invent smellavision, those ribs look good

  • nothing beats smoke bbq

  • don't watch this video while drunk and hungry, you have been warned..........

  • Great video. I like this guys spirit. This is what YouTube is all about. I barbeque and I have some videos on my channel on this same subject . I have a Chargriller offset smoker that I modified. Check it out. Thanks for the great video.

  • I almost cried. It was so beautiful.

  • SWEET!

  • what are you spraying just water or what?

  • @clemmer3000 Apple juice.

  • @seriousbbqsdotcom

    Why apple juice?

  • @TrierFTW

You could also use water, but I think apple juice gives the meat a little fruity taste.

  • Whats in the spray bottle?

  • @raygsxr Apple juice. Thanks for asking.

  • @seriousbbqsdotcom Any apple cider vinegar in there? Do you put your spice mixture in it as well? Good vid!

  • @HuskerSeaofRed Thanks for the kind words. No vinegar or spice in the spray on the video, but I would try it as long as the rub doesn't plug your sprayer. Another thing you can do is melt butter and mix it with vinegar and your favorite rub and brush it on the meat with a pastry brush.

  • That is a seriously nice smoker.

  • @BWaustinTX The craftsmanship is outstanding and the design is genius. Best of all, it's a breeze to use.

  • What grill model is this in this video? i dont think i seen it on the website

  • @tlc64impala Thanks for asking. It's a Meadow Creek TS250 Tank Smoker.

  • @seriousbbqsdotcom thanks maybe I was looking at the pics wrong. I thought the 250 had two separate doors to open. This one has one large door. with the sliding racks. This is the type im looking for right here. thanks

  • @tlc64impala The TS250 has 2 doors, 1 on each side. The TS500 has 4 doors, 2 on each side. Make sense?

  • omg that looks so GOOD!!!

  • did you used gas or wood?

  • @elmeyeme Charcoal with some probably a little wood.

  • Beautiful machine!

  • were did u get that spray bottle at???

  • @norcalkingjames You can check your local home and garden store or online at a place such as Amazon.com.

  • This was a nice video. Short but to the point. I have a food blog & I posted this video as part of a posting on BBQ. It did a nice job showing how BBQ is done. If I need to remove it, please let me know (your channel was properly cited in the post).

  • it is interesting that u bbq ribs and chicken at the same time. I thought ribs need much more time to get cooked througly.

    food looked GREAT btw.

I want a piece of that ribs so baaaaaaaaad.

  • @rtajodini You can cook both at the same time and just pull it off when it's done. We cook them at the same temp, so it works great side-by-side.

  • graet looking pits

  • copy cat of Lang

  • That's a clone of a Lang Smoker

  • @54ringo Sorry, but no, these are not clones! :) Check it out for yourself.

  • looks good !, but my $75 Weber will have to make due

  • Dam I'm hungry.

  • Does anyone know what store you can purchase one of those spray bottles from?

  • they are top ten in pit builders

  • @TheCaptanZ Thank you!

  • Those ribs look good.

  • @theblackhand2 Look good, ARE good! :)

  • Fantastic.More demonstration videos of the smokers please.Thank you

  • what was being sprayed on the ribs?

  • Probably what is called a "mop"...

Cider Vinegar and Water, possibly with Jack Daniels or rum or something.

  • my guess would be apple juice or cider

  • i think its weed killer chemicals lol! it must me some kind of meat suces!

  • its just apple juices in that sprayer to make the meat more juicy

  • apple juice

  • OH MY am i hungry..... thx a lot nothing is open right now. Do ya think 12am is to early for BBQ?

  • It's never too early (or late) for barbecue, BasDon!

  • It's never too early for some 'cue!

  • its never to early for bbq

  • HEAVEN!

  • nevermind... watched your other videos. THanks!

  • hey, where did you get that sprayer you used for your mop sauce????

  • i have one of those in the garage, its a fertilizer/ pesticide sprayer you can get from almost any hardware store.

  • hmmm pesticide.... yum

  • Yummy!

  • Mmmm boy, that looks good...nice pit

  • Looks great!

  • MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!

  • mmmmmm

this is why the mouth was created

  • Do you smoke ribs and chicken and all of that or do you grill it? Food looked great man

  • I actually shot this at Meadow Creek. These tank smokers work great for smoking ribs and chicken and different kinds of meat. The BBQ Pits on our website are perfect for grilling chicken and burgers, etc. We have not actually done any smoking since we are relatively new, but we do grilling with a BBQ42 and it produces some of the best grilled chicken you can imagine. :)

  • thanks, i'm sure it will make it easier to bast ribs with apple juice. i have been using the regular spray bottles. your way looks more even. mike d.

  • You're welcome. I'm glad it's helpful.

  • looks great. I own three bbq 42's. they work so good. I have a question. I want a sprayer like you have in the video. where can I get one ? thanks, mike d.

  • Just look for a regular hand-pump garden sprayer in the home and garden section. But of course, don't use one that had insecticides in it. : )
