During this time RZA, Prince Paul and a few other MC's were dissatisfied with music industry standards concerning hip-hop and what it should be... Out of this Gravediggaz formed and made hip-hop history and gave birth to the short-lived horror-core scene. Several artists tried to imitate this sound and failed... (if you need me to I'll name them for you)...

However, Prince Paul, RZA, Too Poetic and fam were ready to release 6 Feet Deep in 92, only problem was that the record label execs weren't having it. Some would even argue that Esham and Nation Ahead of Time and Space a.k.a. N.A.T.A.S. a Detroit group came first. My point is that no one was interested in Acid Rap, Horror Core or what ever you prefer before Gravediggaz.
