This is a great video. Black soap is excellent for helping with acne. Your routine is good for your face, neck n chest area. Make sure you moisturize everytime, you don't want your face one texture and your neck n chest different, so always do the same to all parts.
I would encourage all is find "natural" beauty cleansing products and moisturizer.

This is my exact routine!! I buy my black soap from Shea Moisture @Target or Ghana. Another couple things: Tea Tree Oil and LEMON are the BEST for Acne. So along with Witch Hazel for the toner, I alternate with ACV, Tea Tree Oil and drops of Lemon juice because they all have antibacterial/fungal properties, which is what fuels acne. Also, I add Lemon to B. clay cuz it fades darkspots. I use clay all over my body really. I am seeing so much progress in once I stopped using unnatural stuff.
Its okay Rach, I've been doing the toilet paper for years....I got the idea from acne.org, they used Viva paper towel, bu that can be pricy. I get my clay and applecider from iherb.com

@tasneem09 You're absolutley right, but African Fog Soap aka Black Soap is not like you're typical commercial soaps found at most drugstores. It is all natural.
Your video was very detailed and helpful. I've ordered all of the products and picked up some witch hazel at Walgreen's, all I need now is the Apple cider vinegar. In the meantime, while I wait for delivery, I washed my face this morning with my usual face wash and followed up with the toner and my Olay moisturizer. I must say that even that slightest addition made my skin feel a bit more refreshed. I'm so excited to try this regimen, and I'm hoping it works for me as well as it does for you.

OMG...I just used it for the 1st time...I thought it wasnt working..then I started to feel the tingle...it works...and you do NEED the pure aloe vera gel...I only purchased part of the kit to try it so I didnt have it....I drove to 5 different stores looking for all natural chemical free aloe vera because my face was literally on fire from the microdermabrasion..I already see a difference from 1 use!
Do you know if the African Fog Soap works for Asian skin? I have moderate acne, but have enlarged pores and the big pimples that make mounds under my skin. I luv African blk soap. I used shea butter for the 1st time on my skin n it felt pretty good. I'm a coco butter user(only moisturizer I put on my face), but I will def alternate between the too. I even got my bro usin the african soap n shea butter for his face.
I have done some research on Benotine and learn that cat litter is made of bentonite. I have bought cat litter for 1.77 and used a coffee grinder to make in to powder form. It works the same as what you have there. check it out you may be able to same 4 dollars, Im just saying.... I really enjoyed your video you are animated. Your skin is beautiful.

That soap more than likely contains dyes that make it compliant with the name "black" It sounds like it has really good ingredients in it only it's BLACK and the dyes come off when you lather. That's an additive I'd be concern about. I've been using African black soap, and after a few months my skin has stopped breaking out, and it clears my son's eczema. Glad it's working for you, but are you not concerned about the color? Real black soap isn't actually black.

Thank you and I recommend the entire kit for best results. I didn't purchase the full kit because I THOUGHT I had pure aloe vera gel (I didn't and wound up buying it seperately) and I already had the bentonite clay. I still use it and I LOVE it. I'm very happy with these products. I hope you try it and let me know how it works for you.

I went and bought it because i think you have a lovely personality but i guess i have been doing something wrong because i have had several burns on my face using the exfoliating cloth. Awesome video.. I am thinking about buying this kit as well.. But I have a few questions that I am hoping that you can answer.. You mentioned that you didn't buy the entire kit, just the soap and the towels. Is it because you already had the pure aloe vera gel and the natural fuller's earth facial clay or is it because you don't use those two steps, only the steps mentioned in the video.. i have a question...i just got my soap today in the mail...do you lather the cloth wit the soap or do u specifically put the soap on ur face then use the cloth to buff it in...also should the towel feel a little rough on the skin when using it wit water alone...im not sure if i wrung out too much of the water or not...lolzz

I wet my face and lather up with the soap and wash my face just to make sure it's clean then before rinsing I wet the microderm abrasion cloth and ring it out and take two fingers and lay the rag across them and rub the cleanser in with circular motions. Scrub no more than 1 minute. It might seem like it's doing nothing but it is trust me! then I rinse. Yes the towel should feel a little rough. let me know how it goes.

The Benzonite Clay broke me out sooooooo bad!!!! I mean it look like somebody fried and burned my skin to a crisp!!! It was just nasty!! I guess its suppose to do that?! But it scared the heck outta me and I'm too afraid to go near it again. Did it pull out the nasty from your face in the form of a breakout? or just cleaned it really well?

I received my face towels & soap today!!! yay!!!! Of course I've already used it and girl you were right.. My face was on fire for a few minutes afterwards but I think the burn is an indicator that something is working. I'm going to stick to this regimen for the next month or so to see what results I get, but so far so good!!! Thanks again!!!
Im an esthetician and I have started using the African Black soap on my face as well. I also so use it during my bath and to wash my natural hair. It works wonders on the skin and hair. You mention being afraid of the germs from towels when drying your; her is a suggestion I give to all my clients no matter the skin type; buy seven white towels and use the only for your face. Wash the seperatly from your other white cloths and towels and don't use bleach to clean them.
I'm just like you when it comes to drying my face. I hate using towels. I let my face air dry. Also for acne blemishes I use fresh lemon juice on the problem area.
I received my bentonite clay today....and of course I hooked up a batch....you were right about the pulsating sensation. I ordered the emu oil too!!! Hopefully my soap & towel kit get here tomorrow...thanks for the great tips!!!!Thanks for tips
too wipe your face try cotton pads or balls, thats what I do , an it's better that toilett paper LOL.towel are a germs nest never wipe your face with it.

i love using black soap. mine is actually not black though and doesnt look like soap. it really looks like something from the earth like a brown rock. they may have treated yours to make it look like commercial soap. its nothing wrong with using the tiolet paper lol i do the same with paper towel. i am going to research that emu oil it sounds like something i need lol. great vid!!
This video was so entertaining! When I started experiencing slight / mild acne problems I found myself blaming my husband too for using the same washcloths that I use for my face for whatever he is using it for!!! LOL I went out and bought a stack of very feminine patterned washcloths and told him they were only to be used by me :-) That helped tremendously. I even wash them separately. Not that using TP isn't a great solution!!! Just funny how I can relate to the whole "husband" thing :-)

vid quality is amazing. This looks like a skincare commercial! You should try Dudu Osun, it works well for me and they even sell it at my BSS for about $3. It's black soap, but it is brown with all those ingredients you listed.
It's so ironic that I used the Aztec Secret Indian Healing Clay this morning before watching your video. I LOVE this mask, and it's been great for my combination oily/acne-prone skin. I haven't ordered it from eBay yet, but Whole Foods and The Vitamin Shoppe sell it for about $8. I'm also using Mario Badescu's drying lotion for any breakouts, but I'm definitely going to look into some of the much cheaper products you mentioned. I also look for salcylic acid as a key ingredient. Great vid!!

@beauflower121 you are definitely right abt the soap. I use most these products but I will never use black soap thats black in color and lathers like that because its not 100% natural. @borderhammer if you want real black soap, you will notice its a stone looking brown color

That soap more than likely contains dyes that make it compliant with the name "black" It sounds like it has really good ingredients in it only it's BLACK and the dyes come off when you lather. That's an additive I'd be concern about. I've been using African black soap, and after a few months my skin has stopped breaking out, and it clears my son's eczema. Glad it's working for you, but are you not concerned about the color? Real black soap isn't actually black.

Thank you and I recommend the entire kit for best results. I didn't purchase the full kit because I THOUGHT I had pure aloe vera gel (I didn't and wound up buying it seperately) and I already had the bentonite clay. I still use it and I LOVE it. I'm very happy with these products. I hope you try it and let me know how it works for you.

Awesome video.. I am thinking about buying this kit as well.. But I have a few questions that I am hoping that you can answer.. You mentioned that you didn't buy the entire kit, just the soap and the towels. Is it because you already had the pure aloe vera gel and the natural fuller's earth facial clay or is it because you don't use those two steps, only the steps mentioned in the video.. I am just so confused.

i have a question...i just got my soap today in the mail...do you lather the cloth wit the soap or do u specifically put the soap on ur face then use the cloth to buff it in...also should the towel feel a little rough on the skin when using it wit water alone...im not sure if i wrung out too much of the water or not...lolzz

I wet my face and lather up with the soap and wash my face just to make sure it's clean then before rinsing I wet the microderm abrasion cloth and ring it out and take two fingers and lay the rag across them and rub the cleanser in with circular motions. Scrub no more than 1 minute. It might seem like it's doing nothing but it is trust me! then I rinse. Yes the towel should feel a little rough. let me know how it goes.

The Benzonite Clay broke me out sooooooo bad!!!! I mean it look like somebody fried and burned my skin to a crisp!!! It was just nasty!! I guess its suppose to do that?! I received my face towels & soap today!!! yay!!!! Of course I've already used it and girl you were right.. My face was on fire for a few minutes afterwards but I think the burn is an indicator that something is working. I'm going to stick to this regimen for the next month or so to see what results I get, but so far so good!!! Thanks again!!!

Im an esthetician and I have started using the African Black soap on my face as well. I also so use it during my bath and to wash my natural hair. It works wonders on the skin and hair. You mention being afraid of the germs from towels when drying your; her is a suggestion I give to all my clients no matter the skin type; buy seven white towels and use the only for your face. Wash the seperatly from your other white cloths and towels and don't use bleach to clean them.

I'm just like you when it comes to drying my face. I hate using towels. I let my face air dry. Also for acne blemishes I use fresh lemon juice on the problem area.

i love using black soap. mine is actually not black though and doesnt look like soap. it really looks like something from the earth like a brown rock. they may have treated yours to make it look like commercial soap. its nothing wrong with using the tiolet paper lol i do the same with paper towel. i am going to research that emu oil it sounds like something i need lol. great vid!!

This video was so entertaining! When I started experiencing slight / mild acne problems I found myself blaming my husband too for using the same washcloths that I use for my face for whatever he is using it for!!! LOL I went out and bought a stack of very feminine patterned washcloths and told him they were only to be used by me :-) That helped tremendously. I even wash them separately. Not that using TP isn't a great solution!!! Just funny how I can relate to the whole "husband" thing :-)

It's so ironic that I used the Aztec Secret Indian Healing Clay this morning before watching your video. I LOVE this mask, and it's been great for my combination oily/acne-prone skin. I haven't ordered it from eBay yet, but Whole Foods and The Vitamin Shoppe sell it for about $8. I'm also using Mario Badescu's drying lotion for any breakouts, but I'm definitely going to look into some of the much cheaper products you mentioned. I also look for salcylic acid as a key ingredient. Great vid!!
