Well this is creating a "single knit effect". It is a double knit process of knitting but since you are just knitting with half of the pegs you end up with it looking like a single knit rib stitch. It is fast going too. That's what I love about it.

I asked if single knitting can be done on the Knitting Board ... but I don't think this is single - still looks double to me.
Single knit would be using one side ONLY of the nails/pins.
I'll check your video on Sock Loom - since that is probably not double knitting.
