Come on, don't discuss about things like that. The only fact in a musical like Cats is the story. The aren't certain relationships. That's the good. Everybody can have his own opinion. There isn't a "wrong" or "right" just different views. And if Andrew Lloyd Wabber said that, okay maybe he just want that the actors find their roles and play it in the way they believe. For example a Quaxo actor told me for him bustopher was his father. Other actors see it in another light. But it can't be wrong

If you watch very closely, Demeter has nothing to do with any of the kits. At All. Not Jemima. Not Etcetera, Electra. None of them. Jem, Electra and Cettie are all Skimbles and Jennys (watch closely. Jenny and Skimble are more 'parental' to them. Demeter mostly ignores Jemima. And Electra. And Etcetera. And Tumble. And Pounce. She has no parenting instincts. At all. Same goes for Bombalurina)

Actually, Jemima is NOT Demeters and Munkustraps daughter. If you have watched the video and stage versions, Demeter has nothing to do with Jemima. At all. And vice versa. And Munkus has to protect her because he's the leader. Jemima is Skimble and Jenny's kit. Just because Jemima sort of looks like Dem (in most stage productions, not at all) doesnt mean they're related.

No, Jemima is Demeter and Munkustrap's daughter. Macavity is Munkustrap's brother and only kidnapped Demeter because Munk wanted her.

@SnapeLover411 Nope. That's not true. None of the cats are related. Munkustrap and Demeter aren't even married. Jemima is not their daughter. Macavity is not Munkustrap.'s brother. Brian Bailey (Who played Mungojerrie in the tour before) told me that Gillian Lynn told him none of the cats are related. Only Coricopat and Tantomile are twins. None of them are married, none of them are dating, none of them are brother/sister. Even Mungojerrie and Rumpleteazer aren't related.

No, that wasn't an opinion. that was a fact. T.S. Eliot had nothing to do with the musical. The only thing that he had anything to do with were the songs and the names of the cats. The songs are based off his poems. Not the relationships or any of that. This is Andrew Lloyd Webber's musical. So, no, Gillian Lynn staged the show with Webber and she told Brian Bailey the cats are not related. So if that's how Webber wrote it, that's final fact.

i see one problem with it. the coupling of munkustrap and demeter was good. that was right with the musical. but jemima is demeter and munkustrap's daughter so i could have seen her being kiara. but it was still a great vid. i love how tugger was scar. hehe.
