@114cortez i can tell you, although i have not beaten the game yet, alot of other people who have says that picking the royal class is best for beginners and the knight class is also a viable choice because it all equal (meaning no stat is too high nor too low).
Magician is the easiest class after 1-1 due to the game's n00bish lock-on system, Thief Ring and pathetic boss AI.
This game isn't hard, it just insto-kills you with traps. Once you know its tricks (and open 4-2 farming), it's Wiisy.
People think it's some hardcore game but that's just because this 7th gaming generation is all casual and dumb down for the retarded mainstream masses.
Want a hard game? Go play Viewpoint on Level MVS or above! Or any SNK game on that difficulty - lol!

@xenexe fire is no good on the spider buy the soul arrow spell or get a bow also use the thiefs ring and stick to the left side hiding behind the skeleton while attacking.
i got some tips 4 ya on the mage class 1st after the 1st demon go to area4 run though the skellys and get the scimitar on the cliff by the red eyed skelly using this sword will slowy refill ur mana and is a very good sword at the same time and there is a helm thing in the tower lvl not 2 far in that bosts ur max mana but geting the items can be hard at the lower lvls but helps big time 4 the beginer mages like me

@N3CR1S Not at all. At first people complained that mages were overpowered. But that's mainly because people didn't know how to counter it at the time. There are many ways to make a mage. You can have a heavy armored magic user if you want. Spells like Ignite, fire storm, and soul arrow really get people.

you have to buy some spells with regular souls(u get by killing mobs) others you get them by trading demons souls(which you get by killing bosses), you will need to unlock special trainer to get all spells and miracles =) with some ''quests''......you can learn all spells and miracles without increasing your faith and magic BUT the number of slots your character can ''carry and use''will havea limited number of slots which increasee with your magic and faith lvls

@CACF247 For some reason Demon's Souls does not allow voice communication. I think it's to make exploiting harder, but people would just use Ventrilo or Skype if they were motivated to do that. That's why you couldn't hear him.

ok I got DS since some weeks^^ And I have to say the game is fucking hard! I dont mean that by dying because of enemies ... I mean that by loosing all your souls because of making mistakes like falling down or running after a such jewellizards ... The game is sometimes really frustrating ... but than a lot of better, if you get some new stuff or get a boss down ;) Demons Souls is like an rough diamond! ^^
@noob7helperataq The only differences, game-wise, between the versions is the servers. If you own a Chinese or Korean copy, the game will still be in English, but you will be playing on Asian servers. If you buy a Japanese copy, everything will be Japanese. The BPE that I got is exclusive to the UK (at least for now), so I will be on UK servers. The game will be in English as well. The BPE also comes with a hardcover artbook, strategy guide, and music CD as well, and the cover is different.

Looks very cool. One thing I really like about your presentation of this video and game is your attitude. Royalty has a semi-rare ring that regenerates MP. They also have two items equipped that each give you +20% maximum MP, for a total of +40%. The rapier is also somewhat unique in that you can attack while your shield is raised.

@KamiHaku Temple Knight is a beast, Thief and Wanderer are very fast run-and-gun type classes, Royalty starts over-powered. Magician takes alot of skill. Though I haven't played Priest yet, I've heard good things.

One of my biggest gripes in Demon Souls is the fact that you have to use fucking CATALYSTS just to cast a fucking spell.
And the fact that you can't make a fully functional mage class.
Dumb shit developers nowadays.

So, are you saying that it is impossible to play the game as a mage? That the only solution is to play as an arcane warrior? Is there any elaborate magic system, i.e, battles fought entirely with magic with protections, different dispels, offensive spells?

@N3CR1S Not at all. At first people complained that mages were overpowered. But that's mainly because people didn't know how to counter it at the time. There are many ways to make a mage. You can have a heavy armored magic user if you want. Spells like Ignite, fire storm, and soul arrow really get people.

you have to buy some spells with regular souls(u get by killing mobs) others you get them by trading demons souls(which you get by killing bosses), you will need to unlock special trainer to get all spells and miracles =) with some ''quests''......you can learn all spells and miracles without increasing your faith and magic BUT the number of slots your character can ''carry and use''will havea limited number of slots which increasee with your magic and faith lvls

@CACF247 For some reason Demon's Souls does not allow voice communication. I think it's to make exploiting harder, but people would just use Ventrilo or Skype if they were motivated to do that. That's why you couldn't hear him.

@aquel93 Demon's Souls is an amazing title, if you have a ps3, I'd ask you why you don't already own it. Warhawk, Metal Gear Solid 4, Valkyria chronicles and Demon's Souls are 4 games you must own if you have a ps3.

ok I got DS since some weeks^^ And I have to say the game is fucking hard! I dont mean that by dying because of enemies ... I mean that by loosing all your souls because of making mistakes like falling down or running after a such jewellizards ... The game is sometimes really frustrating ... but than a lot of better, if you get some new stuff or get a boss down ;) Demons Souls is like an rough diamond! ^^

@noob7helperataq The only differences, game-wise, between the versions is the servers. If you own a Chinese or Korean copy, the game will still be in English, but you will be playing on Asian servers. If you buy a Japanese copy, everything will be Japanese. The BPE that I got is exclusive to the UK (at least for now), so I will be on UK servers. The game will be in English as well. The BPE also comes with a hardcover artbook, strategy guide, and music CD as well, and the cover is different.

Looks very cool. One thing I really like about your presentation of this video and game is your attitude. You're very calm and collected and have a good attitude, as opposed to a lot of people who either put stupid music in it or act like fools throughout. I imported the Black Phantom Edition version of this game from the UK the other day, so I should be playing soon :-)

Royalty has a semi-rare ring that regenerates MP. They also have two items equipped that each give you +20% maximum MP, for a total of +40%. The rapier is also somewhat unique in that you can attack while your shield is raised.

@KamiHaku Temple Knight is a beast, Thief and Wanderer are very fast run-and-gun type classes, Royalty starts over-powered. Magician takes alot of skill. Though I haven't played Priest yet, I've heard good things.
