  • Oh Gene..............sigh

  • 2:05 - 2:30 is just amazing.

  • there is no guy like him in today's world........

  • @travelammu DiCaprio is a dumbass, Hanks is humbled, Crowe is cornered, Schwazenegger is secondary and Fonda forgotten compared to him.

  • Aku cinta kamu

  • So charming!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • This is one of the songs I play when I wanna feel better.

  • I love this scene!!!

  • amazing, wow, breathless!

  • i am geting gene kelly blacks and white shoes for my tap danceing classes

  • I'm sorry, but I would've fell off the ladder if Kelly looked at me like that, even if he was just acting! The director would have to call, "CUT, take #105, bitch get off the damn floor & get hold of yourself" LOL!

  • @hellasexy22 Lol! I think I would have been the same lmao!

  • Gene is one of the sexiest men I've ever seen, he oozes sex appeal from every pore on his body and I can't take my eyes off him for even a second in this scene. Look at those arms, that butt and that tight, fit body, sigh...

  • @hancar

Amen! No other man gets to me like Gene. He makes me weak in the knees..

  • @hancar To hancar...I absolutely agree. Yes, there are many talented dancers but nobody can top this man in dance. Some of the comments on other videos come from young girls who think Kelly is very cute. Timeless!

  • Beautiful scene, I love this film

  • I know it was his dancing that brought him fame, but I love Gene Kelly's voice even more than his footwork.

  • I totally agree with you! and despite the fact that debbie reynolds hadn't danced before this movie, she's an amazing dancer!

  • Yeah, I agree with you, too. I especially love that jazzy chorus number she does at the party when she comes out of the cake. This movie's a blast. I've loved DR since I was a kid. I chose Dominic as my confirmation name because of the Singing Nun song and I could listen to Tammy every day.

  • thank you for amadeus!

  • Kelly was a multitalented man, lovely song and great movie ,then.Something tells me LIP SERVICE was inspired by this moive, tho LIP SERVICE went unnoticed..,Indians copied set work in many movies like OM SHANTI ON etc...

  • lip service is in all bollywood movies. i believe :)

  • RIP Gene Kelly. You were famous too late.

  • kelly still alive??

  • no, he died in '96.

  • @sanjeevmoviebuff no he died on 2nd feb 1996 due to a stroke :( R.I.P Gene Kelly. We will always love and adore you and your work

  • excellent!!!

  • love debbie reynolds.

  • thank you Debbie Reynolds, it was worth the pain to make this gorgeous movie!

  • i hear this in tom and jerry all the time

  • gene kelly R.I.P

  • ditto :(

  • were the taps dubbed for this dance?

  • I know hers were...she actually didn't know how to dance before doing this movie so Gene and Donald O'Connor (plays Cosmo) had to teach her, and they recorded the sound of Donald tap-dancing and cut it in to match her feet for at least one scene ("Good Morning!")

  • Fred Astaire also helped teach her to dance behind the scenes. He felt sorry for her because Gene Kelly would be pretty mean to her about her dancing skills, I think he even made her cry at one point.

  • He wasn't mean. She cried because he just wouldn't quit working until the routine was perfect, as was his nature. However, new to dancing and in particular dancing in a method emphasizing footwork over nearly everything else, her feet would be nigh bleeding by the end of the day.

  • actually, he was; he acknowledged this himself and said in an interview he was surprised she was willing to speak with him after they finished filming. but i suppose it pushed her to do as well as she did in the film, so it was worth it in the end.

  • woot go freddy!

  • Gene Kelly was truely an icon. He is greatly missed.

  • I watch this like a lovestruck puppy.

  • I LOVE this song!

  • Me piace, ma agrada...

Una "opera gatuna" donde se precie..

..en Granada peleando sobre el muro blanco de un "Carmen" protegido con vidrios rotos a la luz de la luna. o.."forse ti busco i non trovo te" ...en Alicante. Casualidad?

  • The song Main Agar Kahoom from the Bollywood film Om Shanti Om is very similar to this I love this it is one of the most romantic scenes ive seen in a classic hollywood film

  • Gene Kelly....you are watching us..from a star..

  • Gene Kelly was perfect!! ::sighs::

  • have seen this a zillion times and it STILL gets me.

thank you so much for posting it!!!!!

  • what a charmer...

  • So romantic!!!!!Now who could refuse to this guy? After all these words...it's impossible isn't it??

  • I sure couldn't. Every time I hear this song, I close my eyes and imagine Gene singing it to me.

  • this is ,like, my favorite movie

  • Ahhhh....how lovely!

  • Ahh, I was looking for this, thanks! Honestly, I think this is one of the lesser numbers in the movie, but of course, its competition is pretty stiff indeed!

  • Spelndid! I love this soo much. Thanks :]

  • gracias por poner este video!!! es una de las escenas más románticas que haya visto en el cine.

  • Finally I found this video on Youtube! Good job of posting it :-)
