This moment is heart-breaking. I once had a puppy that I rescued from the Animal Shelter when he was only 10 weeks old, and we kept him until he was ran over by a car at age 7, and whenever I went to school, he would sulk all day like I had left him forever.
@dstebbin Reminds me of my black fluffy kitten who was an 11th birthday surprise gift to me and I named her Fluffy. Well, every time we left her in the house she would always be mewing from our backyard door till we get back. Sadly, she was supposed to get spaid and declawed 2 weeks later, long story short she was allergic to the pain medication, got a heart attack, and died:( I have her brother though and coincidentally his name is Shadow! :D
Sassy & Shadow are too hard on Chance. They've always been peampered and loved by people, Chance hasn't. They got Chance from the pound, so obviously people haven't been good to Chance in the past. But Sassy & Shadow look down on him.
