Why haven't Komets been draged near to the american bomber formations? It's range was too short , so if the Jerrys would have draged it by something like an Me410 close to the bombers it would have much more time to attack. It was originally a small glider so it must have worked. It's armament should be different also - two powerfull Mk 103 under the fuselage instead of the short range Mk 108s.

@KellieSummit it has a rocket in the back. The prop tells the airspeed by spinning as fast as the air is pushing it. This plane is cool but gives me the shivers. Idk. It reminds me of die glocke.

@KellieSmunt The propeller probably ran the spedometre, and maybe a small generator...she was a rocket powerered fighter just before the war ended...

I reckon this could of easily been converted as a boat-plane, as the skids on it could be more streamlined and maybe a few stability floats on the wings... But ofcourse it would be safer as a jet, not rocket

it was an interesting aircraft, it however was pritty much deamed un effective, it only had a range of around 25 miles, and landings where dangerous of course since it basically dropped its landing gears.
