Natural Born Citizen does not mean having to be born in the US to two citizen parents. In fact, Natural Born Citizen means nothing at all. There is no legal definition of the term in US law, one way of the other. The Founders may have meant for NBC to be defined that way, but they never put it into law. Nor has anyone else since. All that is required under law is for the President to have been born in the US or, if outside the US, to have had both parents be citizens.
Yes, if someone was born in a foreign country without having two US Citizens as parents, then he would not be eligible to be President. But since Obama was born in Hawaii, that is not the case here.
No one has produced any document proving where he was born. His "certification" document posted on his website last year is NOT even accepted by the State of Hawaii to prove birth in Hawaii. Hawaii officials only confirm his birth certificate is on file, but refused to state where it shows his place of birth. The entire issue is bizarre. Why would he spend around $1 million in legal fees (as reported) to not have to release a $12.50 document??? Only conclusion? He's hiding something.
First, his COLB is a legal proof of birth. It is accepted anywhere in the US to prove place of birth. No, it's not reasonable to expect the President to fix everything in 1 year. However, the path he began to set us on his first year of office with the failed Stimulus package, the cap and trade bill, and the Health Care Reform Bill, were going to make things a lot worse.
I just think he's posing himself towards a dictatorship. It's good though that there are people like you, that are willing to look at things objectively and openly.

Glad to hear you state that but many people do. Unfortunately it' those who are not educated. Actually the stimulus did well. Economics 101 is that during recessions Americans tend to save their money. It' this holding and not spending which prolongs recessions, jobs losses, etc. That' not Obama' fault - and what did the states do with the stimulus money? Dicatorship? Like Nazi Germany? Come on. Independent economists have already said the stimulus has done what it was intended to- cushion the impact of the recession and give people breathing room. The trouble is, its been a drop in the bucket, and the recession is a bigger problem than he or Bush foresaw.

Well, I think that calling people tea baggers is making fun of those who are against socialism, yet reap the benefits everyday. It' like cutting their noses off to spite their face. If not for these programs they would have the burden of taking care of their parents, grandparents, etc. They would die of a common cold if not for medicare. Think about this. You must look at both sides of the spectrum. I watch all kinds of news and try to form an opinion based on a reasonable conclusion.

What exactly was in there that was not based on facts? I quoted many, many verifiable sources. I showed footage of many things that actually happened, so I completely beg to differ that this was a fear smear.
Yes, I watch Fox, but I obtained the footage from sources other than Fox. It was presented objectively.

The presentation was done very well. Very neat & well thought out. However I see the "fear smear" of Fox calling Obama a dictator which concerns me. They've called him a Muslim which is toss or a Marxist which is laughable. We are a capital country & Obama is a Capitalist but we are also a welfare state. Millions are not millionaires. HDNKR: Soldier refused deployment to Afghan had his military orders revoked after arguing he should not be required to serve under a president who has not proven his eligibility for office. His idiotic attorney is claiming the military saw this as a win -that Obama wasn't legitimate. However I think the military saw the soldier as insane to believe Obama was not born in the US. Definitely reason of insanity.

To announce that the deployment orders were revoked because the military recognized Obama as "illegitimate" is unprofessional & a head of herself-there's been no explanation released. There is no way the military revoked his orders over something that's so ridiculous because then how many other soldiers would try this to get out of orders? Right & I'm the Easter Bunny. His deployment was revoked for the time being because it's going to court -Obama will have his attorney represent his Short Form to the Judge (although this was debunked last July!) The Judge will dismiss the case & this soldier will in fact be deployed to Afghan if he's fit for duty. Just like they threw out Berg's claim, etc. If the "Major" wants his attorney to speak publicly then the public should be able to respond - you just get more stupid.

Natural Born Citizen does not mean having to be born in the US to two citizen parents. In fact, Natural Born Citizen means nothing at all. There is no legal definition of the term in US law, one way of the other. The Founders may have meant for NBC to be defined that way, but they never put it into law. Nor has anyone else since. All that is required under law is for the President to have been born in the US or, if outside the US, to have had both parents be citizens.

Yes, if someone was born in a foreign country without having two US Citizens as parents, then he would not be eligible to be President. But since Obama was born in Hawaii, that is not the case here.

No one has produced any document proving where he was born. His "certification" document posted on his website last year is NOT even accepted by the State of Hawaii to prove birth in Hawaii. Hawaii officials only confirm his birth certificate is on file, but refused to state where it shows his place of birth. The entire issue is bizarre. Why would he spend around $1 million in legal fees (as reported) to not have to release a $12.50 document??? Only conclusion? He's hiding something.

First, his COLB is a legal proof of birth. It is accepted anywhere in the US to prove place of birth. Second, you have no proof that he has spent one dime to defend himself against these nuisance cases. For all you know it is pro bono work. Finally, he is under no obligation to show his records to us. He has showed them to the proper authorities and he was deemed eligible to run, win and be sworn in as President. He has passed his security clearance with the NSA. He is the President. Get over it
