i saw gilmours, waters and mason reunited 2 days ago at the O2. There were middle aged men crying, some holding each other to make sure it really was real.
You know 15 yrs ago I would have given anything to travel back in time and see this show live (yeah anything, don't even ask how I got to Woodstock '94), but haveing given the years to travel forward in time, I just wasn't up to the journey accross the country. Rog was awesome and sold out for quite a pretty penny in Edmonton a few years ago and I don't understand why he didn't bring this back there. Somewhere I'm sure, it all makes perfect sense.
@fcpictures Dude, your making cry. The scene when the little girl saw her dad walk into her classroom, when he came back from service, no sure what song it was, hit me hard. I was choked up.
@JoshuaTaylor I went to the show in Toronto, and if you like Pink Floyd or Roger Waters any price is worth it. I would pay 1000 dollars to see this show again no problem
@JoshuaTaylor I would pay $AUD400 to see this, You will never see anything like it ever again. The dude who wrote the songs, concept , came up with the staging/presentation ideas etc. is Roger waters
The world will remember him as FF Christopher Pickford, who made the ultimate sacrifice on 9/11. We will forever remember you as "Sup". Best buddy to many. Thank you Roger Waters for honoring him so.....It would have made him happier than you could ever know.
r.i.p chris. i watched the world forget. but they will remember soon. next time they will remember. if just for that moment. faggot liberals. i know my enemy.....
@miamad Of course it can't, it's missing Gilmour, Wright (RIP), and Mason. But this is the closest thing you can get to a Floyd show, apart from some of the cover bands. However, the cover bands can't hold a candle to 1/4th (5th if you count Syd) of Floyd.
Not to contradict--and with all good intentions in mind--"The Wall" was a Water's record, and when he presented it, he offered to do it as a solo project.
Gilmour even says he was nothing more than a "studio musician" because Waters' vision (aka ego) was clear. If you listen to "Piper" "Ummagumma" "Dark Side" & even "Animals" they sound nothing like "The Wall" (or "The Final Cut"), both of which are Waters'... Why don't people fight over "The Final Cut" like they do The Wall?

The only decent seat I can find for the Tampa/St Pete show is $355.00. I'm still deciding if it's worth it.....

At least hes updating the wall because he knows its going to be less about him and appeal to something in all the fans. Its a bold change.

This show can't hold a candle to the 1980 wall shows.... which were, by the way, actually performed by Pink Floyd.

@SalsaShark542 I don't really count syd as this floyd, there were two pink floyds, one with syd, and one without.
