FYI I don't think anyone hates the US, it IS just hating George W Bush. Bill Clinton has always had a great reception when he's visited the UK because he knows how to appeal to foreign audiences and seem like a nice guy. One thing Clinton does, incidentally, is make jokes about the 1812 war... ;-)
