This brings back memories, I spent the whole night on guard duty on my own in the hanger the day Kennedy was killed, nothing but dirges on the radio and creaking of cooling airframes. Creepiest night of my life! I wonder what happened to the aircraft stored there.

One is still standing, but one has collapsed. Happened a few years ago apparently : (

Nice one,anything planned for these offices, I must get around a few yorkshire airfields next year, with my camera.

According to the planning application, luxury apartments with four houses on what was the airmans quarters behind this site. The owner wants to keep the exterior of these buildings as near to original as possible, So fingers crossed.

The buildings are listed and the owner is a member of the RAF Yatesbury Association

I met the owner in 2007, he is a really nice guy & very genuine.
