The fight at 2 minutes happened a couple shifts after Jiri Fisher (the Red Wing in the fight) hit Owen Nolan (sharks captain at the time) from behind and buried him into the boards. This retaliation is the kind of thing that keeps fighting in the game.  Fisher, if he hadn't had a heart attack on the bench during another game, probably will think twice about hitting someone from behind the next chance that comes along.
