  • code?

  • @thedarkmatterplanet Money? Yes it uses code. You can buy the PIC through my website. Sorry, I have to eat and feed my family and it did take me a while to perfect the routines.

  • @whoopjohn alrighty then... I didn't mean to be curt with my question / request. Just trying not to waste your time with overly verbose pleadings. I understand what you mean about time and money, but I think I will adapt my own 16x16 charlie matrix code to this application. Thanks anyway.

  • @thedarkmatterplanet Sorry too if I sounded curt.

  • @thedarkmatterplanet Charlieplexing will give you N x N-1 outputs, where N is the number of pins. So with 16 pins you will have 16 x 15 or 240 outputs to play with. With 16 + 16 you could have 480 if you have two sets of 16. A 16 x 16 conventional matrix would give you just 256 outputs.

  • @whoopjohn Cool, and by the way, what you have built here is actually quite beautiful. Cheers, and keep up the killer work!

  • can i ask for the diagrams? please

  • i checked your website but this one wasent for sale? I love the flow of the leds /Marcus (sweden)

  • The display is a clock. The hours are indicated by two lit LEDs. There is a minutes LED from which the scrolling LEDs emerge. They disappear into the hours position. A further LED indicates the seconds.

  • thats sweet, did u make it?

  • Yes of course, I design and make all my clocks.
