The finger picking part is just a brilliant interpretation. Once you perfect the vocals and timing I can see you just blowing people away with this cover (well it has been nearly 3 years and maybe you have perfected it by now). Nonetheless, good job.

You took it and you made it your own. I've talking todays afternoon to certify that its impossible to sing like Jeff Buckley. It is. The only way to do it is just like you did, making the song your own. The best cover I've seen of Jeff Buckley in General, not only Last Goodbye.

Constructive thoughts, not criticism. Guitar Playing, Vocals, and Interpitation, are great.. I would like to see you hold you notes a little longer between chord changes to make it flow smoother, like you voice.. Good luck. Nice to see someone attempt without hacking one of the best songs ever written!

thanks for the constructive thoughts. i agree that jeff's version is perfect and normally i would just cover a song as its written. but i just can't sing it the same way jeff does, so i just thought i'd try re-arranging it in my own style : )

Jerewmy.. I like what you did.. don't me wrong please.. I wasn't suggesting you try to sing it like Jeff did. I like your interpitation.. I just think you should hold the vocals a little longer at the end of the lines.. It will blend the lines better.. you have a really cool distinctive voice.. It really reminds me of Paolo Nutini a lot..keep pounding away..
