Global warming is real but humans are not the cause. The glaciers are melting from the bottom because the heat is coming from the Earth core. The other planets in our solar system are also warming. The greenhouse gas story is just a cover to keep people from discovering the truth. Ice cores prove that CO2 increases after temperature rises, so the CO2 is not the cause but the result of a warmer atmosphere. CO2 green house gas is a valuable resource and is a required gas for plants, trees, algae. With out green house gas(CO2, the rain forest would start to die. The "tax and spend" liberals had a budget surplus before Bush's war, now look at it. In fact, look at real estate, devalued dollar, the world's hated of america, and the total discregard for people's rights and the constitution. If you look at the big picture, the economy was much better when Clinton was in office and the buying power far offset these "taxes". With the Bush spending and blowing up the deficit he is using low interest rates to finance the economy causing in inflation to go through the roof. At least tax money went to helping someone.
Clinton was blessed by the paperless dotcoms of the 90s. when they all started going belly up, the economy started to tank, then came 2000. And even AFTER 9/11, Bush still recovered the economy and WITHOUT the (look ma the emperor has no clothes) Dotcoms!!!
Tax the living snot out of Iceland for letting that erupting volcano emit all of those nasty greenhouse gasses. Global warming is real but humans are not the cause. The glaciers are melting from the bottom because the heat is coming from the Earth core. The other planets in our solar system are also warming. The greenhouse gas story is just a cover to keep people from discovering the truth. Ice cores prove that CO2 increases after temperature rises, so the CO2 is not the cause but the result of a warmer atmosphere. If the truth was told, there would be panic and rioting and commerce would be disrupted.

If one looks enough one will find that methane and water vapor are much more efficient heat-traps than CO2. Government cannot kill all the cows that produce more methane than cars produce CO2, and they cannot go after water vapor. What they CAN go after is CO2 as cars produce it and humans exhale it. So if you're a lib and want to save the planet...kill yourself. But then you'd have to do a cremation as regular burial pollutes just as much as you exhale during life. Use common sense.

Al Gore is simply another person who is far from perfect. Any sensible being places their own perceptions and those of the people around them under a reasonable level of scrutiny to be able to gauge the truth behind what is being shared. Our so-called environmental footprint is something that each of us need to hold ourselves accountable for. Driving dangerous hybrids is an issue, but this issue does not trump the effect that each one of us has on the environment.

two: what makes you think that SUVs are safer? Crumple zones are no longer the only way to keep you safe in a car. Size doesn't matter so much anymore.
Oh yeah, for the record, I don't like SUV's but if one does really use it to carry cargo or traverse rough terrain, then it's fine by me.

A carbon scrubber is as inefficient as hell. The concept works, but it's not worth it yet. They have come up with something that uses caustic soda to clean the air, but the machine is much bigger than an AC unit.

Columbia University has invented a machine, a CARBON SCRUBBER that eliminates 60 times the amount of CO2 generated by any ONE person.
So if every household was equipped with this thing (about the size of an A/C window unit) then that would solve ALL CO2 emmisions everyone.

Global warnimg is a hoax. The worlds temperature has always changed, and as well as that of the solar system. CO2 green house gas is a valuable resource and is a required gas for plants, trees, algae. With out green house gas(CO2, the rain forest would start to die. When the plants start to die, we start to die because we need plants to change CO2 to oxygen. No CO2 fewer plants, fewer plants less oxygen.

I can't believe people are still talking about "global warming." All four major global temperature tracking outlets (Hadley, NASA's GISS, UAH, RSS) have released data showing that over the past year global temperatures have dropped precipitously. The total amount of cooling is enough to wipe out most of the warming recorded over the past 100 years. All in one year's time.
Those in denial about the idiocy of the global warming hoax have now taken to referring to "climate change" instead.

We can't even accurately predict what the weather is going to be tomorrow. How can we predict that the world is gunna be super hot in ten years? And the gas issue: It costs be about $48 to fill up my "gas guzzler" each month. That's with the $4/gallon gas.

What scientists gave you this info? I get my gab from NASA and the nationally funded (YES BY BUSH) climatological studies that have been verifying global warming since the '50s. It seems to be the consensus that scientists agree that global warming is a problem, but bloggers who don't have any credentials think its a hoax.

Okay, I think you guys need to get your facts straight. This study of climate variability over the last 50 years is consistent throughout the studies, MOST of which are not NASA and are just studies done by meteorologists and climatologists, many of which never heard of global warming when they did the studies and you guys are saying they have some sort of conspiracy? And despite what a couple of TV weathermen who work for big oil, there IS NO COOLING TREND.

If you look at the big picture, the economy was much better when Clinton was in office and the buying power far offset these "taxes". With the Bush spending and blowing up the deficit he is using low interest rates to finance the economy causing in inflation to go through the roof. At least tax money went to helping someone.

THE ECONOMY was only better for the following reasons:
1. CLINTON lost congress to GOP in 1994. GOP kept spending in check.
2. DOTCOM bubble hadn't burst yet.
3. INTEREST rates were set by GREENSPAN. Same guy CLINTON, BUSH Sr. REAGAN used.
4. Tax cuts passed by CONGRESS over Clinton's objection are what spurred the economy, not GOVT spending.
