What the?! Ayame stab him?! No!.. I know neither Ayame and RIkimaru never intend to kill each other at all because they're way too long childhood friends. Beisde that, them both always save each other all the time in danger situation. But I like the drawing here and yet, it's sad because Rikimaru didn't care if Ayame stab him. Rikimaru and Ayame make the most best couple ever.

actually thats not true i beated tenchu 4 for the psp yesterday.and well onikage was disgised as sekyia he fought with rikimaru rikimaru won then onikage grabed kiku(lord goda's daugter) and rikimaru stabed her to get to him and killed them both lol just beat the game u will understand

How is Rikimaru getting old? He was like 18 in Tenchu 2, and not that many years have passed since. Nowhere close to being old.

And neither Riki nor Ayame die in Tenchu 4.

Rikimaru is said to be 8(or something) year older at tenchu 4 yet it was less than 8 years since tenchu 3. there has to be a story taking place between those games. we should watch out for the next tenchu games.

Well Acquire announced their plans to make a new trilogy, starting with Tenchu 4. It's possible one of those can explain whatever happens between them.

Rikimaru doesn't die, no one of the Azuma Ninja clan does. TENCHU 4 takes place just one year after Tenchu 3

In Tenchu 2: Birth of the Stealth Assassins, Tatsumaru commited Seppuku - a tradtional way of Japanese suicide, only used when someone in a Samurai and Ninja clan doesn't abide by the clan's code. Tatsumaru's reasons were that he turned against his clan, killing his master. He stabbed himself in the heart with his Tatsukichi.. After Ayame fights him.

Just in case you haven't noticed, Tenchu: Fatal Shadows is NOT Tenchu 4, it's just a prediction of what happend with Ayame during when Rikimaru was in our time.
