so true about people thinking you have to have a permit and get it registered. I took some of my friends shooting who were a little nervous about it, and later on they asked about the steps they would have to take to buy a gun themselves. "where do I apply for a permit, where do I get it registered...." I told them that in Texas you don't have to do any of that thank God.

I had to carry the M-16 in uniform, and that was enough to let me know that I'll never carry one voluntarily. An AK or Mini-30 maybe. Anything, just about, over the AR system!
