I don't listen to much current top 40 music...so I'm not all that familiar with a lot of the pop stuff that's out there...but you're right, I should expose myself to more of it. I only did this video to enter a contest...and it had a requirement to do a song from the top 100 iTunes songs.

I thought that this was way better than the original (I had to look it up to even know what the original sounded like). Have you considered a Coffee House, Acoustic version of this? The reason I ask is that your voice owns this song from the start...I would wager to say that 2 acoustics and your voice would seriously bring this song home in a way that would fully outshine the original! This was actually originally constructed as a guitar/piano song, but I got a bit bored and started to mess with the additional instruments.
