If i had a family to feed i'd have the sense and decency to move to a climate where i could buy food that did not cause suffering of innocent animals. Fuck the hunters, fuck 'em all.

You know if you had a family to feed and you lived in the Atlantic region you would understand. This makes up one third to almost half of their total income, and @ 123 the Canadian seal hunt is the most regulated in the world. What about Europe those hypocrites trying to ban our seal hunt? They still have annual seal hunts over their that is larger then ours and it is unregulated.  The DFO has strict laws in place to ensure that seals are killed in the most humane way possible.

I believe that sealers should be looking for a more humane way to kill these animals but when it comes to the question if the seal hunt should be banned or not I would just like to talk about an encounter I had back when I was younger when me and my dad ware taking a drive to PEI I believe it was about 6 years ago

We knottiest three dead seals by the shore we stopped and asked a game warden that was at the seine what did these seals die from. He said that they died of starvation. He said that there is not enough food in the ocean to support the current seal population

Thats why I believe that if a species is over populated hunting to help control the population is a not a bad idea. It is bather to die quickly than to die of starvation. But sealers should have a limit off how many seals they can killed and laws to inshore that this animals have a quick and panellist deaf
