i've played wow but one of my friends recommended guild wars, so i bought guild wars and it looks so much better, i have a compaq laptop with 2,2 ghz dual core and ati radeon hd4250, it runs on ultra with an average of 30 fps
my 17" screen laptop has 1200p and can handle wow on max settings running with about a constant 27fps(not including dalaran) and it only cost like 1 300$

No one wants to look almost 6k views? This video isnt about just trying it in game, its about running it "maxed" out something which your pc probably cannot handle, reasons why your here complaining.

Blizzard purposely made the graphics not so awesome so that people wouldn't have to buy expensive computers to enjoy the game. That's why WoW has 11,000,000 subscribers while AoC and EQII don't even have half a million.
where did i say i play games for graphics alone? The game world of warcraft does not posess rights to all other games so i don't understand the "own" bit. you have NOT played all other MMO's so cannot make that call, its the only one you've tried aside from runescape probably like most other people and if you HAD tried another you'd understand most others have a far stronger gameplay than world of warcraft.. dont embarass wow with your arrogance.. p.s. fool.. Problem is with playing anything on a TV through a computer is that it is really grainy because the resolution is stretched so much. I tried playing on my 1080p LCD via direct HDMI and I just couldn't stand it, lol.
I am planning on geting wow but i would like to know if it will work on my satellite broadband connection,will it work??,I Play games like Guild Wars and it runs smooth as ever i have no probs with guild wars...,
You dont need a super-mega-great connection for wow, i have like the slowest ever but it works great, if its lag's all the time, just edit the graphic texture-settings for something lower.

@jharrod123 Don't use converter cables since it might lower the performence (it sure doesn't increase it though). :)
