i agree it may not be his style of sining, but in islam, we are taught to care about everyone, muslim or not, and because this is a problem bieng faced in alot of modern day societies, im sure this is way sami yusuf saw it in his duty to address this problem by singing about it.

he is basically trying to tell us all that we should 'give the young a chance'.. many people think that our generation now adays has no respect.. that it does not care about anything except themselves and that we would be hopeless when we grow up and mature.... and im sure u no the many other stereotypes that are related to young people in this generation... so sami yusuf is answering them and saying give them a chance... u havent let them show you how well they can be...
