  • That looks like a M Schenker guitar. Well, at least its his colors. Im pretty sure he has a guitar like this. nice playing.

  • Far out man!! Nice job, one of my favorite riffs. Too bad it never got any commercial radio airplay!!

    Rock ON!!!

  • One of the bands and songs that got me into metal as a youngster, thank you for this. Such influential licks!

  • Great Job !!

  • i defiantly wouldnt call this the best or influential songs ever LOL

  • i thought i heard somewhere Schenker played live with a wah wah pedal set at around half way. Have you tried that? His tone on Strangers in the Night is incredible.

  • @LegguhVids I've read about that too and it does sound like it's filtered. I've used an autowah pedal on two of my other Schenker covers to match his sound better.

  • @RR0849 Awesome job man, I have been trying to find good tabs for this song forever do you know where I can find any online, nice to see somebody rippin on this tune!

  • Stunning, a pure steel classic by one of the bands that made me the metal addict i am! The truly great songs stand the test of time. Very pleasing rendition!

  • Hey man, just thought I'd drop in and tell you what an awesome job you did with this cover. Not many people put forth such a valiant effort to get an awesome sound for their youtube videos, especially not for covers. Very nicely done sir.

  • nice guitar and good job

  • Hey, have you thought about getting the ESP NV STD? Seems like one insane guitar. Let me know what you think.

  • @mrmaybe trust me, I don't think he's ever gonna buy an ESP. Look at all of his videos, all of his guitars that he's playing are either Jackson or Charvel (Made By Jackson) so the chances of him ever looking to get an ESP is slim to none. Plus in my opinion, Jackson kills ESP anyday. I have a Jackson myself and it's just awesome for $500. I got the KVX10 King V and it's pretty good but USA made are the way to go. I know people with ESP's and they seem to have more frett buzz than my Jackson.

  • @mrmaybe no metal guitar is better than a jackson. Chris broderick went around to different cmpanies looking for the best guitars. He was pissed at ibanez for giving him cheaply made pieces of shit, he realized that dean were cheap pieces of shit as well, and he realized that jacksons have a much more natural tone and have for better playability than esps.

  • @crazylocoguitar he also went with good ol' marshalls instead of piece of shit engls

  • Cool

  • sounds much better with a metal tone to

  • wow this is great mankeep it up

  • Excellent job Jani, again ;)

  • Näyttää ja kuulostaa hyvältä!

  • hey i know what you could add to your arsenal!!!!!!!!, marty friedman's kelly. im sure you have enough money or magical jackson fairies to get one of those

  • the song you told me to play man :) thanks for uploading !

  • once again awsome!

  • are you using your jackson j80 pickups? they sound really good

  • @Ghabriel123 Y2KV has a Duncan Custom and the King V has a Jackson J50B. Both have J50N neck pickups but they are not used in the clip.

  • You're awesome man!

  • Amazing cover man!:D how much do these guitars cost you on average?

  • AWESOME MAN!!!!!!!

  • Great cover! Keep 'em coming!

  • Awesome!

  • Great cover, bro!

  • Phenomenon!!!

  • Probably the most brilliant guitar riff ever written.

  • Yeah, it's very easy to see where Mr Mustaine copped a lot of his stuff from! At least he admits it though..

  • Very well done, nice.

  • Your guitar tone sounds different than usual. There's more "air" to it than normally on the left side.

    A new King V?

  • @zupperm I put a mic on the amp cause I couldn't get enough feeling to the solo with direct sound. That's why you can hear a metronome on the background during the breaks. And yes that's a recent purchase - a 1985 Jackson King V Custom.

  • This made my day! Great job Jani.

  • YES! I've always loved playing that main riff, It's one of the funnest songs to play on guitar
