i say let people pirate music. i still buy cds, but if it wasn't for pirating music i would have never even heard of minus the bear. good music should be spread to everyone who wants to hear it. great song, great band.
@ohwello it's not like you just magically looked up minus the bear and downloaded their music...you had to hear of them somehow. probably through a friend or some sort of promotion. promotion that costs money and takes hard work, just like recording music and releasing albums costs money and hard work. if everyone pirated everything, there would be no money to produce awesome music like MTB. at least make an effort to support the band if you're going to pirate music that you actually like.
@forgottencitizen actually it was limewire that introduced me to minus the bear, and if you didn't know limewire is a file sharing program. i never heard of minus the bear until i was searching for another band and a song called pony up by minus the bear showed up so i downloaded it and loved it, since then i bought every cd they put out.
favorite song of theirs. I used to put this on outside while nobody was home when id sneak away from class in highschool... float around in the pool, smoke a joint, and just float around
Shit man thats weird close to what id do. like exactly. Cept once the coming home at the wrong time what the parents and i had unclothed company in the pool. The good old years not i got rent and shit.
these guys are fucking AMAZING. I really wish they wouldve played this. Damnnnnn. For their first shit, This is What I Know About Being Gigantic was excellent.
A band who worked this hard and gained fame by their own means and on their own terms does not deserve to have an a-hole like you pirating their shiz!
i was in front of him at the NYC Fillmore 10/6 show for the planet of ice tour and it was AMAZING. i definitely think that show was much longer and intense, but this one has a respectable audience. at that one.. it was moshing galore and i was in too much awe of dave and the entire show to take pictures and videos
this is the most amazing band ive ever heard. it just fills you up with life. <3

I use to pop a few perks and lay in my pool and listen to this as loud as my little outdoor stone rock speakers would go.
