  • Name of song lol

  • If i run windows and only windows off a ssd, and run everything else off hdd like games will i see any improvement?? since the hdd will no longer have to run both windows and games??

  • @Nemesis2k14 So you admit you've never used an SSD before, and you won't back up your postulation with actual data. I don't need to mock you. You've highlighted your own lack of intelligence simply by posting here. /lulz

  • @Nemesis2k14 Gotta love the ignorant internet geniuses who think they're the end all of everything. All I have to say to you is that you've clearly never used a computer equipped with some decent SSDs. /thread

  • that's so weird your reflection looks so much like me. And is that a hd200 you'r wearing too? x_x

  • its 3:42 am and i had the vol up to a considerable level the song scared teh hell out of me lolz!

  • Instant Mute.

  • I think you can snag scope in promod...

  • lol copywritten LOSDLFGSFD

  • I looked at the reflection, how much jail time am I looking at?

  • 0:06 HEEEY THERE :D

  • The answer to your loads of bollocks: FRAPS

  • lol Vista :_:_

  • My 5400 rpm does the same thing..

  • @Dorisequador you wish it did the same thing !

  • @thekyriakos SSD are over rated.. I rather buy a Raptor and run 3 in raid for a way cheaper price..

  • @Dorisequador hahaah. I agree. But you are wrong. Your 5.4k rpm hdd isnt as fast as my 10k hdd and still the ssd is way too faster than my hdd.

  • @thekyriakos actually it's not the speed of the drive it's the tranfer rate. Bits per second or ns I should say.

SO my 5400 rpm does 380 bps so does my 4Gig SSD plus harddrive 7200rpm does 380bps hmmmmmmmmmmmm same tranfer rate. but what the internal reading tranfer rate ah!!!

    That is the correct question.

  • @Dorisequador Yes. Ok show me a vid where your 5,4k rpm hdd does the same thing as the ssd . Wait you have no vids ?

  • Are 2 ssd's really 2 times as fast or just like 1,5 times faster?? Also, is an ssd really worth the money??

  • Is your name wouter/walter?

  • Holy fucking stupid music batman.

  • Nice, but you should get a better monitor. Only low-end monitors have a glare panel (apart Apple). Get an Eizo Flexscan S2433 instead, it's another planet.

  • It seems you were just re-launchng the game, its so fast because it leaves some stuff in ram.

  • @lukilladog You can try doing that yourself, it doesn't change anything. The game clears itself out of the memory on exit, just like any other app. Very little is cached in the RAM anyways, the save games and textures are pulled from the HDD first.

  • @jackthbean I´ve just tested using the bog level, 17"27´ first time; closing the game and relaunching the same level took only 3"72´ . This is typical of IW cod games... their stuff remains in the ram until the space is required by other application.

  • @jackthbean the game might not stay in the ram, but most apps do. they are referred to as cold and warm starts for this very reason. photoshop takes about 15 seconds for me to open when cold, but only 4 seconds when warm

  • Is possible to have similar performance with only one SSD Vertex 2 ?

  • quick question what is "[...]ssd in RAID 0" mean ? and why do you need 2 ssd instead of one???

  • lmfao looks like your in your basement.

  • SSD's are great but not THIIIIIISSSSSSS great - well they are that great actually. however 2-4 fast classic HD's in raid 0 can get similar speeds you know

the access time is where it's at. my silent drives are great but they come at a cost, 15 ms access time. means whenever it needs to randomly access a file it takes an average of 15ms to get to it. SSD's have 0.1ms lol..

  • *FAKE* Speedup time x4

  • Holey FUCK! thats fast.

  • All reflections are copy written lol.

  • I gave you the thumbs down because of the annoying music. Lame!

  • I turned the annotations off and looked at the reflection....am I going to jail?

  • @THEARBITER641 No, but you may wake up dead one fine morning.

  • @jackthbean How can he wake up dead???? LMAO If you're dead you can't wake up.... I guess! xD

  • @jackthbean dude, now i'm scared

  • SSDs are a waste of money these days, they perform great but it doesnt justify the current prices

  • @Aristowi they do for a boot drive but i agree anything past a boot drive (50-80GB) is stupid and 30GB SSD is stupid for boot drive the low memory is said to actualy restrict the OS making it comparabled to a 7200RPM HDD

  • @Aristowi Someone has to buy them to get the prices down. Derr.

  • @aSASa45454 Not me, but you are right, go ahead and buy them, hehe

  • My specs are: Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD3R 80GB 2.5" SSD Intel X25-M G2 SATAA-UD3R 1TB Samsung Spinpoint F3 HD103SJ Intel Core i7 930 Corsair 6GB (3x2048MB) 1600MHz XMS3 Noctua NH-D14, 140mm Gigabyte Radeon HD5970 2GB Corsair HX 750W 80+ Samsung 22X DL SH-S223C Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit Cooler Master ATCs 840 ATX
  • I am curious....any chance of adding a bit slower of a game (more drive dependent) like Gothic 3 or perhaps GTAIV which is a massive load out at the start?

    Thanks.

  • Do you like your Vertex? Is it worth it? i was thinking about getting a 30GB from Amazon....

  • So nice. I'm ordering the vertex 2 today.

  • faster than ps3

  • Nice Vid. Ill get some second handed SSD's.

    btw, fuck copyright =D

  • bugagagag, send me to jail !

  • Where was the loading screen I think I missed it.

  • Impressive! I see that the loading bar reach the 100% mark in about 3 sec. I'd like to know how long it would take with only one SSD and with a 7.2k HDD so i could get a better idea of how fast it is. Thanks

  • Wow lol shit. I'm upgrading my computer to i7 i THINK. I am going to get two Intel X-25M 80GB in Raid 0 and for family computer (no gaming) i5 setup with one G.Skill Falcon 128GB ssd. Good idea? i5 comp gotta last several yrs or so :P

  • I would say SSDs rock for a GAMING computer. But unless you have money to blow, just go with a single or dual 7.2k drives, standalone, or in RAID 0 for the family computer. Trust me, for a family computer you want the most durable stuff you can get. SSDs are going to improve vastly over the next couple of years, so don't think of the current SSDs as future proof. Good luck!

Oh, and i7 kicks some serious llama butt, especially if you overclock. ;)

  • @jackthbean lol you replyed to that guys comment he sounds like an idiot lol i roll with 60gb OCZ SSD (fastest SSD tested by lefit reviews according to new egg) and a 600GB Sata III 10k raptor SSD at the currentmoment are kind unrealist for game due to there size and certain issues with erasing data its better now with TRIM but still unless you make 120k a year then stick with 10k RPM HDD and boot SSD and MAYBE few games i prefer to not mess with my SSD :)

  • @Squirelll Raid of SSD is not a so great idea: no TRIM.

But well the Intel X25 M doesn't REALLY need trim, and it can maybe work through the Intel Application.

  • @RalenSanis well i ended up getting a 128gb super talent, but it lost a LOT of performance over a couple of months, so i went back to hdd, now I have INtel X25-m 80gb G2 for OS and main programs and a 500gb hdd for games, moves, music etc.

  • @MrXRO6 Do games load faster though since they're still installed on the regular HDD? As fast as this video?

  • this is beatiful man :D soon I will get two in raid :D. stops drooling

  • nice video, nice reflection. lol
