I think i'm gonna buy pst3 hi-hat but which would sound better a 12 r 14 inch? because I have a set and a 12 inch hihat came with it so do u think de 14 will fit? tnx :)
@Trailmixorz B8 withouth a doubt. PST3 and HCS are uncomfortable to play on and sounds bad. Cheap though. B8s not great either, but the best choice if youre looking for really cheap cymbals. Good cymbals are unfortunately more expensive
@nito46 Price is not an issue, because these cymbals are within similar ranges(at least the crashes). I was thinking of getting a b8 16" and an HCS 28". Or just stick with 2 b8s?
@Trailmixorz If I were you I would go for the B8s. I just bought a couple of B8s myself. They're not great cymbals, but I use them only for practice. In any live situation I use the sabian HHX evolution, which is awesome. But too expensive to ruin in practice. The HCS and PST3 are in my opinion not "bendy" enough, and is therefore uncomfortable to play on, in supplement to sound bad.
these cymbals sound good considering that i can get the ones for the hi-hat for just 55 pound! Are they good enough for an intermediate player that plays mostly funcky and fusion?
@Sormannn hey dude I was wondering if you knew how Paiste PST3 China 18" sounded cause im really into getting a new china cymbal and I dont know which one to choose between the Meinl HCS China 18" and Paiste PST3 China 18" :P
@Nitram916 I bought a wuhan china for a few months ago, and I couldn't be happier with it. If you're going for a great and cheap china, buy a wuhan! they're GREAT!
@Sormannn yea but when I searched for wuhan on a musicstore in my country they only had one sort of Wuhans and the 18" one costed like 450 swedish crowns which is REALLY cheap :P Weird was that the 20" one costed 1000 swedish crowns :S
Man, you shoulda just bought some Wuhans. They cost less and sound a shit ton better than PST's. I bought PST3's with my first set too. They were cool at first because it was my first very own set, but they were just to clanky.
@SicSociophobiac I think that the Pst3's are great for its price. But yeah, they're not the greatest cymbals in the world, but they're good enough for me. I'm not complaining.
i can't decide :D both sound ok for me. i'm looking for a strong crash cymbal, that doesn't crack easily. i don't mind bad ride quality, i want to use it as a crash in the first place. help would be nice :) thank you.

@UnitFmX11 Sick. I dont think the ride is all that good though. But I have 1 16" crash, and it kicks ass!

@UnitFmX11 I ended up scraping up enough mopney for a mix of B8's and Xs20's

Should I get these or Sabian SBr?

@Shriffican I would go with the pst3 set. It's really cheap and sounds surprisingly good.

please help me decide:
Paiste PST 3 Crash Ride18"
or
Paiste 101 Brass Crash Ride 18"
i can't decide :D both sound ok for me. i'm looking for a strong crash cymbal, that doesn't crack easily. i don't mind bad ride quality, i want to use it as a crash in the first place. help would be nice :) thank you.

@18mrsbrightside I think the Pst3 is great if u wanna use it as i crash, as I do. I don't know about the paiste 101. But I recommend the Pst3 :)
