i like nitro's a lot more then electro's since if you'll need to rebuild the engine then you can but with a brushless motor once you burned it out then your screwed instead of buying a $10 part you got to pay $80+ for a new brushless motor
If you had to pick the electric or nitro vehicle in this video, which would it be? I'd pick the nitro b/c there is no speed difference and the nitro angine sounds like its actually doing something.
Niiiiice. Damn fast nitro engine. For the cold weather it was running pretty well. Last winter (Florida winter = not so cold) I ended up burning out my 3.3. Rebuilding it once I'm done playing with my new RS4 Drift =)
The motor is actually a 5 port ( Go calls it a 7 port)... I am more then happy with the top end, the BL Truggy is a 2200 KV running on 20 volts, which means its pulling 44000 RPM...the BL is on a 14th bell and the nitro is on a 13 th bell.... So that means the nitro is out revving the BL by a fair margin, and if the BL is revving 44K then the Nitro is doing pretty dam good.... The BL is geared to run 55 MPH FYI...
if you know lipos....they can drop below 3 volts per cell under load...so his BL probly wasnt even hitting 40k......other wise your saying your .21 revs about 47k while pulling a truggy....
The BL's low voltage cutoff was set at 3.4 volts and he beat it down for a while after the drag races so id say it was comfortably above 3.4v under load... he estimates about 3.8v's = 41000+potentially.

@Phitzgood Brushless for less maintenance in the long term. I like both though.

for a modded 7 port i would of expect more mid to top end power......but it pulls alright. : )

Not bad for a engine with such a weak powerband ! Lacks on bottom and lacks on top LOL !

Holy Crap Neal! That engine really puts it down, I love the sound of that thing! Keep up the excellent work.
